Summary of Position Purpose:

The Affiliati Network is currently seeking a focused and motivated early-stage professional for a promising opportunity as a Jr. Affiliate Manager, in our Santa Barbara office. As a Jr. Affiliate Manager, the candidate will work side-by-side with the founder & CEO of the company to learn the business and assist in sales activity, as well as take over and grow assigned accounts. The candidate will help support the Vice President of Affiliate Management and assist in activities to help the department achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Affiliate Management: Effectively implement the affiliate management strategies and tactics for the company as determined by goal-oriented discussions with the CEO and VP of Affiliate Management.
  2. Engage and re-activate dormant accounts: Identify, evaluate, solicit, and follow-up effectively with high value existing clients through multiple sales, communications, and marketing methods including Email/ Telephone/ Messenger programs.
  3. Affiliate Management: Initiate and develop key high value affiliate & brand relationships to grow the company and increase revenue. Maintain relationships with Affiliate to ensure both departmental and individual project success.
  4. Communicate with the Business Development staff regarding advertiser communications for specific affiliates including quality issues, compliance issues, budget issues and positive feedback such as requests to increase traffic, etc.
  5. Support the CEO in managing accounts and eventually take over full management of those accounts.
  6. Become familiar with the numerous offers we have and be able to present to our clients clearly and effectively based on their needs. This includes being able to select the right offers to present to the right clients.
  7. Be able to deliver a pitch, maintain consistent follow-up processes, and implement effective closing strategies.
  8. Learn the process of vetting new affiliates who apply to the network in order to maintain high quality and standards.
  9. Learn the process of reaching out to dormant affiliate accounts on the network, re-engaging them, and getting business going again.
  10. Aggressively recruit new affiliate partners by using our logins for specific traffic sources that aren’t actively or working with the Affiliati Network.

Location: SD, CA 92127 (Fully remote, or option to work from San Diego office at our company headquarters or in Los Gatos at our secondary office.)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Stay current with local market trends, identify product ideas, and find category/hot item breakthroughs to improve performance.

2. Write planning proposals from a functional/narrative/series perspective to create named creative products with a sense of series.

3. Research consumer behavior, collect and summarize local market product data, analyze and capture hot items, and assist in optimizing existing categories.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree or above, English as a working language, arts major, or marketing major is preferred.

2.Experience in advertising companies/brand planning, excellent copywriting planning skills, unique insights into creativity, and good strategic thinking.

3.Familiarity with and love for retail industry/fast-moving consumer goods business models; relevant product planning experience is preferred.

4.Strong market analysis, marketing, and promotion ability and good interpersonal communication and coordination skills.

5.Proficient in using Office software such as Word, Excel, and PPT.
