Casting Call: Background Actors for TV Series “STRAWBERRY FIELDS”

Job Overview:
Cherrix Casting is seeking men and women, ages 18-65, for background roles in the upcoming TV series “Strawberry Fields.” We are particularly interested in new faces to bring authenticity and diversity to a key scene. We encourage applicants of all ethnicities and backgrounds to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in one scene as a “Displaced Person.”
  • Follow direction from the director and crew to ensure the scene’s accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Maintain professionalism on set at all times.
  • Be punctual and ready to start at the given call time, which could be as early as 5:30 AM.
  • Be available for the entirety of the shoot day, as times may vary.

Requirements:

  • Ages 18 to 65.

  • Must be a new face (not previously featured prominently in “Strawberry Fields”).
  • If you own a vehicle (car or truck) from the years 2000 to 2014, please indicate in your application. The vehicle must be drivable and not colored red or white, as it may be used in the scene.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be a fountainhead of smart, conceptual work throughout a high volume of clients across any and all industries.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or portfolio school experience) not required, but preferred
  • 5+ years of experience (agency experience is a plus)
  • The ability to effortlessly move from one client to another 
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, with expert knowledge and daily practice of major features within each application
  • Knowledgeable understanding of the Pantone color system — along with use cases of Pantone inks and CMYK and RGB color spaces for reproducing images 
  • Understanding of current web design and paid social standards
  • Familiarity with image-generation AI programs is strongly preferred
  • At least some experience in Figma (alternatively, Adobe XD and/or Sketch)
  • Practical knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a huge plus

  • The Senior Creative/Web Specialist Art Director is responsible for concepting, art direction, graphic design as well as presentation design, and presenting brand advertising, product marketing, and customer- and employee-facing communications.
  • The specialist partners with copywriters, account managers and digital specialists to meet creative director’s expectations and clients’ objectives within the Client brand.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the delivery of creative, effective communications consistent with the company’s brand standards and voice.
