Casting directors are looking for talent who closely match specific physical characteristics to double for a race car driver. This is a paid opportunity for actors who can maintain consistency, follow direction, and accurately match on-screen talent. Ideal candidates are flexible with their look and comfortable with grooming adjustments if needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a body double matching the principal actor’s physical appearance
• Follow detailed on-set direction for positioning and movement
• Maintain continuity in appearance across filming days
• Be available for fittings and multiple shoot days
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate scene execution

Requirements

• Male, ages 20–40 (varies by role)
• Must match one of the following looks:

• 5’9”–5’11”, approx. 153 lbs, short brown or reddish-brown hair (or willing to cut)

• 5’7”–5’9”, approx. 150 lbs, short brown hair, facial hair acceptable (or willing to cut)

• 6’0”–6’3”, approx. 209 lbs, bald or willing to shave, facial hair acceptable

• Must be comfortable with possible haircut or grooming adjustments
• Reliable and available for all required shoot and fitting dates
• Able to provide requested video submission if selected

Compensation

• Approx. $440 per day (SAG rate, 8-hour day)

Historical Internal Video Background Roles

• Stand-In #1: Male, Black, ages 25–40, short hair, very fit build, height between 5’11”–6’1”

• Stand-In #2: Male, mixed ethnicity, ages 18–25, height 6’7”–6’10”, approx. 250 lbs, basketball player build, side fade haircut with fuller volume on top

• Stand-In #3: Male, mixed ethnicity, ages 18–25, height 6’3”–6’5”, approx. 205 lbs, basketball player build, side fade haircut with fuller volume on top

• Must be local to or able to work as a local hire in Raleigh/Durham, NC

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable on set

Compensation

• SAG-AFTRA stand-in rate (approximately $490)
