Job Description
A commercial production is casting professional stand-ins to work as local hires in the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area. These paid stand-in roles support principal talent during lighting, blocking, and camera setups. The production is seeking physically specific matches with strong on-set professionalism and availability for extended shoot hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a stand-in for principal actors during technical setups

• Match the height, build, and general appearance of featured talent

• Follow direction from the assistant directors and camera department

• Maintain consistency, focus, and professionalism throughout filming

• Remain available for long shoot windows as required

Requirements

• Stand-In #1: Male, Black, ages 25–40, short hair, very fit build, height between 5’11”–6’1”

• Stand-In #2: Male, mixed ethnicity, ages 18–25, height 6’7”–6’10”, approx. 250 lbs, basketball player build, side fade haircut with fuller volume on top

• Stand-In #3: Male, mixed ethnicity, ages 18–25, height 6’3”–6’5”, approx. 205 lbs, basketball player build, side fade haircut with fuller volume on top

• Must be local to or able to work as a local hire in Raleigh/Durham, NC

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable on set

Compensation

• SAG-AFTRA stand-in rate (approximately $490)

• Paid commercial role

Historical Internal Video Talent (1940s Vignettes)

Job Description
A historical internal video project is casting talent to match the look of a real business family from the 1940s. Performers may appear in multiple short vignettes, and no one will be needed for a full day. This is a paid, vintage-style shoot filming in the Charlotte or Lincolnton, North Carolina area.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a 1940s-era family member in short, scripted-style vignettes.

• Follow direction on set for period-appropriate movement, expressions, and blocking.

• Arrive prepared for a vintage look and maintain continuity across takes.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the Charlotte or Lincolnton, NC area (exact location TBD).

• Comfortable with a 1940s-themed wardrobe/hair styling (wigs may be acceptable for some roles).

• Must be willing to appear clean-shaven for applicable roles (or be willing to shave).

• Casting is looking to match these role types:

  • Female (18–22): White; natural darker blonde or light brown hair; slightly longer than shoulder length.

  • Male (50–65): White; tall, stout build; white/gray or salt-and-pepper hair; clean-shaven or willing to shave.

  • Male (45–60): White; tall, thin build; light very short hair (white/gray or light brown with graying); clean-shaven or willing to shave.

  • Female (50–65): White; ideally white/gray hair (blonde mix ok); able to style hair in a 1940s look or wear a wig; medium to slightly heavier build; warm grandmother type.

  • Male (40–55): White; average build; brown/light brown short hair; clean-shaven or willing to shave.

  • Male (50s): White; average build; brown or brown/gray very short haircut; mustache ok or clean-shaven.

  • Male (40–55): White; athletic build; preferably bald (or very short hair); will wear a hat.

  • Male (65–75): White; athletic build; short gray/white/salt-and-pepper hair; will wear a hat; clean-shaven or willing to shave.

Compensation

• $100 flat rate (partial-day need).

Sam Role for Short-Form Series (Ages 10–13)

Job Description
A short-form series filming in Maiden, NC is casting a lead role for Sam, the younger sister of the character Deon. Sam is bold, confident, and observant—often the “queen of the coop” with a sharp, younger-sibling attitude. The production is seeking a young performer who can bring personality, wit, and awareness to the character.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Sam, an outspoken and confident younger sister
