The Job:

Responsible for implementing client and agency communications and outreach services with a dual focus between general audience outreach and executing campaigns serving Spanish-speaking audiences. The Communications and Outreach coordinator disseminates public relations materials, builds relationships with community-serving organizations, manages statewide community events, and coordinates campaign targeting, measurement, and reporting. This position will also contribute to the creation of Spanish-language content and outreach efforts and ensure campaign materials are culturally relevant for Spanish-language audiences. This includes participating in Spanish language media interviews, transadapting and co-creating compelling content (e.g., pitch letters, opinion pieces, bylined articles), building Spanish-language media relationships, and developing sources to support compelling storytelling.

Responsibilities:

Communications and Outreach (80%):

  1. Provide coordination, tracking, and executional support for short- and long-term communications projects and campaigns.
  2. Execute earned media programs, stakeholder and community outreach, and influencer engagement activities for clients.
  3. Plan, coordinate, and execute community events including identifying and securing partners and venues, managing invitations and promotional outreach, and managing event setup, take down, and measurement.
  4. Contribute to the creation of Spanish-language content and outreach efforts and ensure campaign materials are culturally relevant for Spanish-language audiences. This includes participating in Spanish language media interviews, transadapting and co-creating compelling content (e.g., pitch letters, opinion pieces, bylined articles), building Spanish-language media relationships, and developing sources to support compelling storytelling.
  5. Organize and serve as the point of contact for Spanish language media outreach; manage client media lists, vet media opportunities, and make recommendations.
  6. Draft content including infographics, blog posts, and other related materials to advance the priorities of clients and the organization.
  7. Provide monthly earned media and community event/engagement reporting for clients.
  8. Stay up to date on client news and industry trends; share relevant information and ideas with full account team.

Administrative Duties (20%):

  1. Support the Director, Senior Manager, and Managers in building, executing and tracking campaigns
  2. Support Civilian’s goals, strategic plan, and community impact initiatives
  3. Participate in weekly department meetings, and staff meetings
  4. Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to execute strategies and communicate relevant information

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of marketing, communications, public relations, and/or outreach experience; agency experience preferred
  • Must be fluent in Spanish
  • Public/community outreach or non-profit experience preferred
  • Experience with Cision, Meltwater or other similar media monitoring and database tool preferred.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development & Communications Director is responsible for generating revenue through individual and corporate giving programs and philanthropic events. The Development & Communications Director maintains the Compact’s donor base, cultivates relationships with potential donors and works closely with the Executive Director to develop individual and corporate giving strategies that encourage unrestricted gifts to further the organization’s mission and operations. They will also oversee the organization’s marketing and promotional efforts, implementing strategies to increase brand and mission awareness both online and in the communities served by the Compact. The Development & Communications Director will enjoy a corporate culture that is entrepreneurial, collegial and often requires an “all-hands-on-deck” attitude. This position supervises one full-time employee and manages event, graphics, and website contractors.

Job Responsibilities

LEADERSHIP

  • Ensure that the organization meets its annual targets for unrestricted, public support
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Director
  • Create and execute the organization’s annual development plan with timeline and goals

DEVELOPMENT

Relationship development/management

Event Planning/Special Projects

  • Plan and implement fundraising strategies specific to events and special fundraising campaigns related to events
  • Supervise staff or contractors who are responsible for event logistics

Campaigns/Major Gifts Development

  • Grow a major gifts program including identification, cultivation and solicitation of major donors
  • Build and promote platforms for diversified gifts such as bequests, qualified charitable distributions, appreciated assets, etc.
  • Develop and execute campaigns including, but not limited to, annual campaign, capital campaign and flash campaigns

Donor Cultivation/Retention

  • Create a community-centric donor culture focused on long term cultivation with current and prospective donors including meaningful touch points throughout the year
  • Gather, interpret and report donor data, using data to inform approach to donor cultivation
  • Work with executive director on donor retention activities

Administration/Reporting

  • Maintain donor database and process incoming gifts
  • Manage donor data, maintaining confidentiality and security of personal and proprietary information
  • Prepare or support preparation of impact and compliance reports
  • Pull mailing lists and generate donor reports
  • Provide project support for other programs and initiatives, as needed
  • Provide basic office support, which includes, but is not limited to fielding public inquiries for information

 

COMMUNICATIONS

  • Maintain and grow organizational brands digitally and in communities served by the Compact
  • Create or support creation of donor communications which may include, but is not limited to, emails and newsletters and annual reports
  • Manage creation of social media content for donors
  • Oversees creation of collateral materials including, but not limited to, business letterhead, acknowledgement communications, program promotional material, signage, billboards, advertising, business cards, tabling materials for events and public meetings
  • Execute the organization’s external communications including a monthly digital newsletter, social media, press releases, and advertisements
  • Use targeted communications to reach key constituents of the Cumberland River Compact with calls to action

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public relations/marketing, nonprofit leadership, or related field
  • At least 5 years proven track record of developing individual gifts in a nonprofit organization
  • At least 3 years of experience in event-based fundraising
  • Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; proficient in Kindful, Quickbooks. Familiarity with Google Analytics and social media intelligence platforms

Cranberry Panda are exclusively working with an amazing award winning social agency, who are looking to hire an Influencer Manager to join their newly created Social Media, Influencer & Content team. Ideally an extremely passionate individual, that has agency influencer experience, ideally having run campaigns for beauty, cosmetics, skincare, haircare, wellness & nutrition brands, and have a genuine passion for partnering with sustainable brands!

As Influencer Manager, you will be partnering with the co-founders, running exciting end2end execution & delivery of influencer campaigns for some of the biggest purpose-led sustainable brands in the universe!

A little about the role

  • From an Influencer perspective, manage & lead the delivery of the day-to-day client campaign strategy, as well as managing all relationships with relevant influencers, ensuring you exceed all expectations on the clients deliverables.
  • Responsible for the influencer talent selection, where this is driven by data & insights, as well as having a solid understanding of the clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Create insightful & comprehensive data reports for their clients, using the relevant tools to support your decision making, whilst being creative in your thinking.
  • Work alongside the Influencer Lead, developing forward-thinking content strategies, showcasing your vast experience on what will exceed expectations from a delivery perspective, most importantly, having a comprehensive understanding of your clients, their brand & product offerings, with a natural ability to build outstanding relationships.

A little about you

  • Ideally someone that has worked for a startup social agency, with a focus on sustainable brands within beauty, cosmetics, skincare, haircare, wellness & nutrition!
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years’ in the influencer space, be a social & digital native, with an exceptional understanding of the influencer landscape & ever changing social trends!

Athlete Marketing Manager

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Position: Full Time

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Remote on Fridays)

Position Summary/Objective:

The Athlete Marketing Manager (AMM) oversees the influencer and athlete

marketing program. In this role, the AMM enables our athletes and influencers to progress in

their programs by setting clear expectations and goals. It is the AMM’s task to bring

brand voice to life through our athlete projects, influencer content, campaigns, and

partnerships. They will create and communicate the strategic vision for the program, including

establishing KPI’s for major categories: Brand Awareness, Personnel Management, Revenue,

and Content.

Essential Job Functions:

(Athlete Marketing Manager will spend most of each shift on these essential duties)

  • Develop the overall athlete and influencer marketing strategy for all company

athletes and influencers

  • Develop the vision for finding new talent, and work with the Athlete Marketing

Specialists to expand the influencer and athlete programs domestically and

internationally

  • Oversee the Athlete Marketing Specialist and Brand Ambassador Specialist

Influencer Management:

  • Set expectations for the influencer program. This includes personnel management,

campaign management, content, brand expectations, communication of brand voice

and influencer expectations

  • Establish KPI’s to review program performance, both individually and as a whole

program.

  • Stay apprised of new influencer trends and adjust program periodically

Athlete Management:

  • Set individual athlete goals and target outcomes. This includes creating a marketing,

communication, and performance plan for each managed athlete

  • Track, evaluate, and manage performance and marketing goals for each athlete
  • Create realistic performance parameters for the term of each athlete agreement, track

and analyze results

  • Ensure each managed athlete is knowledgeable about the brand, its products, and

contract expectations

  • Negotiate athlete agreements and contracts – including performance expectations and

goals, retainer, bonus, branding rights, availability, schedule, and usage rights.

Required Minimum Qualifications/Job Knowledge:

-Bachelor’s Degree

-5+ Years’ Experience in Athlete Management/Athlete Marketing Management

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible to constant changes

-Ability to have strategic oversight and executional abilities regarding the program is a

must

– Ability to set clear expectations and uphold the expectations with athletes and

influencers

-Good communication skills and ability to work with a team
