Casting Call Job Description: GoodRx – Real People Campaign August 2023

GoodRx is seeking real user stories of compelling experiences with the brand for its upcoming Real People Campaign in August 2023. We seek individuals who have genuinely used GoodRx and have impactful stories about their experiences. We would like to hear if you have a compelling story about GoodRx that falls within the categories below!

ROLES:

  1. Real GoodRx users saved a significant amount of money, precisely at a time when they otherwise couldn’t afford their medications and could use the money they saved to do something for themselves, such as starting a new hobby, paying for other expenses, etc.

  2. Real GoodRx users who are veterans.

  3. Individuals who use GoodRx for the following conditions:

    • Diabetes
    • Fertility treatment
    • Hypertension
    • High Cholesterol
    • Autoimmune Conditions
    • Breast Cancer or any cancer
    • ADHD or ADD
    • Insomnia
    • Hair loss

Need help to find your condition? We are open to hearing about any situation you may use GoodRx for!

  1. Real GoodRx users dealing with (or have dealt with) Medicaid issues, particularly those who have recently lost Medicaid or will lose their coverage soon.

  2. Real GoodRx users dealing with (or have dealt with) layoffs/unemployment.

  3. Full-time caregivers who manage medications and GoodRx savings for someone with one of the above conditions.

  4. Pharmacists who recommend GoodRx to customers.

Requirements:

  • You must be a real GoodRx user with personal experience.
  • Please do not submit if you are an actor or do not have experience using GoodRx.
  • If you have a story that fits the criteria, we encourage you to complete our in-depth questionnaire, which takes approximately 20 minutes.

Shoot Details:

  • Shoot Dates: 8/29, 8/30, or 8/31 (Each cast member is required for one production day and potentially one day of travel depending on circumstances).
  • If you are unavailable for the above dates, don’t worry! We are casting for multiple upcoming shoots and would love to hear from you. Please note your unavailability for 8/29-8/31, but express your interest in future projects.

Shoot Location:

  • Future filming may occur in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, or Portland. However, living in these locations is not a requirement.

Compensation Details:

  • Session Rate: $500 per 10-hour session, including fittings and Covid-19 testing.
  • Usage Rate: $750, covering the following terms:
    • Term: In-Perpetuity
    • Territory: Social media & print worldwide, broadcast in North America
    • Media: Social Media, Broadcast & all print media.

Please Note:

  • The client can offer travel accommodations and a stipend for those cast members required to travel for the shoot.
  • This project involves both stills and motion.

We are excited to announce a casting call for an upcoming campaign featuring a popular breakfast spread. We are looking to cast Real Families and Real Friends to be a part of this exciting project!

JOB DETAILS:

  • Project: Popular Breakfast Spread Campaign
  • Location: Sydney, Australia
  • Shoot Dates: 16th of August 2023 (1 x shoot day)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Real Family – Parents (Mid 30’s – Mid 40s), Child (6 – 8 years):

    • We seek a real family with parents in their mid-30s to mid-40s and a child between 6 and 8 years old.
    • The family will be featured in a heartwarming and relatable scene showcasing the product’s appeal to families during breakfast.
  2. Real Family – Parents (Late 30s – Late 40’s), Son (11 – 13 years):

    • We are looking for a real family with parents in their late 30s to 40s and a son between 11 and 13 years old.
    • This family will participate in a fun and energetic scene, highlighting the spread as a favorite among older kids during breakfast.
  3. Real Friends (14 – 17 years):

    • We are searching for real friends aged between 14 and 17.
    • The group of friends will be featured in a vibrant and enthusiastic scene, showcasing how the spread is an essential part of their breakfast routine.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • All participants must be legal residents of Sydney, Australia, or have valid work permits for the specified shoot date.
  • For families, genuine relationships will be prioritized.
  • For friends, natural and dynamic chemistry among the group is essential.

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

  • Selected adult talent (parents) will receive a talent fee of AUD 5,000 for their involvement in the campaign.
  • Selected child/teen talent (children and friends) will receive a talent fee ranging from AUD 1,000 to AUD 2,000, depending on their age, for their involvement.
  • All fees mentioned are before tax deductions and superannuation contributions.

Please note that all fees will be paid through standard industry practices, and talent will receive compensation within the agreed-upon timeframe after the shoot.

The annual salary range for this role in the NYC market is $75k – $110k in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses or benefits, and the base pay offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on experience, skills, training, certifications, education, etc., and will be informed by market data. What You Would Do:

  • Intimately understand the client’s business, industry and competition, leveraging that knowledge to help generate new ideas to strategically grow their business
  • Help conceptualize and develop digital communications, including user-friendly websites, rich media, banners, microsites, landing pages, email campaigns, and applications components to be consistent with overall campaign components
  • Raise the standard by applying the latest interaction design approaches, design templates and processes
  • Effectively interact with clients as needed in a way that positively impacts the agency relationship, including presentation of new initiatives, concepts and campaigns
  • Work under minimal supervision to lead creative
  • Handle multiple tasks easily, consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines and client/agency expectations
