Job Responsibilities

• Translate the director’s artistic vision into striking cinematic visuals

• Operate with a strong sense of atmosphere, lighting, and visual storytelling

• Capture ambient sound and natural dialogue with clarity and nuance

• Collaborate closely with a professional and creatively supportive team

Requirements

• Director of Photography: must have own camera equipment and a sharp visual eye

• Sound Recordist: must have own gear and confidence in sound capture and mixing

• Portfolio or past work samples preferred

• Open to students or emerging creatives looking to gain professional experience

Compensation

• Non-union, unpaid role

• IMDb credit and a copy of the finished film provided

• Meals and refreshments on set

• Hands-on experience on a visually-driven, collaborative production

• Commitment: 6–7 shoot days across a 2–3 week span (late July to early September)
