Job Description

A nonunion testimonial campaign is seeking adults ages 30 and older across Canada to share their experiences with cutting back on or quitting cigarettes. Everyday Canadians from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including current smokers and people who recently quit using the featured nicotine replacement product.

This paid on-camera opportunity offers potential compensation of up to $5,100 per person, depending on final usage and inclusion in the finished edit.

Job Responsibilities

• Share honest, firsthand experiences about smoking, cutting back, or quitting.
• Discuss your motivation for changing your smoking habits and your personal goals.
• Participate in a filmed testimonial and be comfortable being publicly identified.
• Complete a self-tape introducing yourself and explaining why you want to quit or cut back.
• If applicable, discuss the personal goals the featured product is helping you pursue.

Requirements

• Be at least 30 years old and appear 30 or older on camera.
• Reside in Canada.
• Fit one of the following participant profiles: currently using the featured product to quit or cut back; motivated to quit or cut back and open to trying it before filming; have tried other nicotine replacement therapies without success and are open to switching; or have recently quit using the featured product.
• Be comfortable describing your experience naturally and honestly.
• Submit an application and self-tape.
• Be available for a callback in person in Montreal or via Zoom for other cities.
• Be available for one filming day in Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver, with the final location to be confirmed.
• If travel is required, be available to arrive one or two days before filming.

Compensation

• Potential total compensation of up to $5,100 per person.
• Final payment depends on usage and whether your footage appears in the finished edit.
• Buyout covers all lifts, edits, and versions for one year.
• Travel and accommodation are provided for selected participants who do not live near the chosen studio.
• Nonunion project.
