Fuente Latina (FL) provides access and information in Spanish about Israel and the Middle East in real time to thousands of media professionals and influencers worldwide. Activista Media (AM), a new English language digital storytelling project of FL, focuses on engaging millennial and Gen Z Latinos who thrive on social media through colorful and culturally relevant stories that impact our community. FL and AM serve millions of global Latino news consumers through traditional media services and digital content production.

FL/AM is a women-led, Hispanic-focused non-profit media organization. Our multicultural international team is growing! We are looking for an outgoing digital savvy Multimedia Producer to be the voice and top promoter of our new brand across social media platforms and the Influencers circle. Activista’s audience are US Hispanics, 15-35, that consume most of their news and information on social media.

JOB SUMMARY
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
·     Represent Activista Media on all social media platforms.
·     Pitch story ideas related to the current news cycle.
·     Take on daily assignments as well as work on evergreen content.
·     Evaluate news leads and tips to develop story ideas.
·     Produce high quality investigative stories, explainers and interviews.
·     Produce accurate and compelling social media copy in English on deadline.
·     Organize material, film and edit video.
·     Write stories and scripts based on the information obtained.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
·     Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation in English.
·     Strong reporting skills.
·     Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar and organizational skills.
·     Must be fluent in English – Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
·     Promote teamwork and work in cooperation with all station personnel.
·     Adept at ad-lib presentations, without aid of scripts and/or teleprompters.
·     Possess exceptional research skills.
·     Have existing developed sources and contacts in the industry.
·     Strong understanding of Latino culture and well-versed on trends shaping millennial and Gen Z social media consumer behavior across all platforms.

Have at least 2 years minimum of news or entertainment industry reporting experience.
