About The Role

We are seeking a digitally savvy, experienced creative-minded engineer/developer to execute our influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns. If you are a unique individual who displays a positive, professional attitude at all times, an authentic enthusiasm to teach others and possesses a background in engineering/development, then you are the person we are looking for.

Interest and passion for the IoT industry is a must!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies to a technical audience
  • Represent the Soracom brand and communicate the value of its products through various mediums
  • Very comfortable with public speaking and video production
  • Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders
  • Attend relevant events for networking and business purposes
  • Develop new and interesting content that appeals to technical innovators
  • Research relevant industry experts, competitors, target audience, and users
  • Brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencers
  • Liaising with the marketing team to create and coordinate marketing strategies that work across different channels

Requirements

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience publicly representing a technical brand
  • 1+ years experience working remotely across time zones in a multicultural environment
  • Experience with online communication tools like Slack
  • Outstanding English written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud technologies -AND/OR- electrical engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of the social media marketing industry
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized with great time management skills
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Networking aptitude
