Job Responsibilities

- Must be able to work as a local hire in Hilliard, Ohio.
Compensation
- $1,700 for the entire project.
- 20% agency fee, if applicable.

The non-union feature film “Coarse” is casting lead actors for an upcoming revenge drama filming across multiple U.S. locations. The story follows a young man who embarks on a journey of revenge across the United States after the brutal murder of his father. The production is seeking strong dramatic performers for three central characters, with filming planned in Texas, Illinois, Louisiana, and Wyoming.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a lead role in the feature film “Coarse.”
- Deliver emotionally grounded and compelling dramatic performances.
- Develop complex character relationships and maintain continuity throughout production.
- Collaborate with the director, cast, and production team.
- Travel to required filming locations based on the selected role.
- Perform approximately 10 estimated shoot days, depending on the role.
Requirements
- Alex Taylor: Male, ages 18–30, playing ages 11–14 and 25–30; open ethnicity. An old soul shaped by grief who later serves in the military and works in mortuary affairs.
- Harlan Callahan Jr.: Male, ages 25–30; open ethnicity. A lawman, Alex’s closest friend, and an important moral figure in the story.
- Lorelei Taylor: Female, ages 30–50, playing ages 31 and 51; open ethnicity. A strong, determined woman and former gang member facing major personal loss and illness.
- Strong dramatic acting ability required.
- Must be comfortable portraying emotionally intense subject matter.
- Must be available for approximately 10 shoot days, depending on the role.
- Lead talent must be able to travel to required production locations.
Compensation
- $300 per day.
- Additional 20% if applicable.

Kid Actors for One-Shot Short Film
Job Description
A non-union short film titled “What Would a Turtle Think?” is seeking young actors ages 11–18 for an ambitious one-shot production filming in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The entire 4-minute film will be captured in one continuous take without cuts or do-overs, giving young performers a unique opportunity to experience a technically challenging filmmaking process. The project includes a rehearsal and filming day, and some roles may include dialogue. Please note that the film deals with sensitive subject matter.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform in a 4-minute narrative short film.
- Participate in a continuous one-shot filming process.
- Attend the required rehearsal before filming.
- Memorize and perform assigned actions and dialogue, if applicable.
