The first trailer for The Sex Factor, was recently released and you can essentially hate it or love it.

The Sex Factor, is a porn competition web series hosted by the now famous Duke porn star Belle Knox. The winners of the show have the chance to win a million-dollars and an opportunity to do a scene with Belle Knox.

It will be the first professional shoot for the one man and one woman as they try to stand out from a group of 16 contestants in a competition that is basically just like American Idol but with sex.

Judges include Tori Black, Lexi Belle, Keiran Lee (the man who insured his penis for $1 million dollars), and Remy LaCroix.

The audience will vote to decide who gets eliminated after each round of challenges. Voters will also have the chance to decide the contestant’s porn star names.

The contestants have not been selected yet, so this trailer just points out the four judges showing they will look. The trailer also points out the rules for the show.

The show starts in May, and the winner will be announced at AVN Awards in January.

There seems to already have a growing audience. With the trailer having nearly 2 million views, this may be the next biggest web series to hit the Internet.

People close to Elliot Rodger were not surprised that the turned to a serial killer.

In Yesterday’s New York Times there was a long story about the killer Elliot Rodger and the article basically sums up the idea that many people who knew Rodger as a kid were not surprised that he ended up killing six people.

The New York Times pointed out that it all started in 1999 when Elliot Rodger’s parents were trying to solve their son’s psychological problems, Elliot was only 8 years old.

Mr. Rodger’s mother, Li Chin, filed an affidavit describing Elliot as a “high-functioning autistic child,” and said she needed more child support to care for him. His father, Peter Rodger, countered with a Beverly Hills doctor, Stephen M. Scappa, who challenged that diagnosis, saying it failed to acknowledge the possibility of “depression or anxiety.” Dr. Scappa said that Elliot, almost 8 at the time, should be sent to a child psychiatrist for more examination and treatment.

The article continues to point out that Elliot Rodgers grew up as a lonely and introverted kid. They would try to set him up on play dates and take him to numerous counselors to therapists and urged him to take antipsychotic medication as he was moved from school to school. But, none of this seemed to help. Elliot Rodger’s mother would later buy him the now famous, Black BMW, to help “improve his stature”.

Many people where not surprised by the actions and noticed that he had an extremely dark side. A poster on a bodybuilding forum told Rodger to his face that he came off like a murderer.

As Mr. Rodger’s “Day of Retribution,” as he called it, approached, there were signs of what he was plotting. One poster on Bodybuilding.com, another website where he shared his views, noted that Mr. Rodger had taken down a video titled “Why Do Girls Hate Me So Much?” This person said the video had made him look like a serial killer. “I’m not trying to be mean, but the creepy vibe that you give off in those videos is likely the major reason that you can’t get girls,” he wrote.

Overall it appears as though Elliot Rodger had a very dark childhood.

Simon Astaire, an author and agent who has been a family friend for over 10 years and has been acting as the family’s spokesman, described attending a Christmas party at Peter Rodger’s hillside home in Woodland Hills and wandering out into the cool night to come across Elliot, then 12, staring into the black sky. He said Elliot had lowered his head and started sharing his loneliness before turning back wordlessly toward the heavens.

“He wasn’t just a little withdrawn,” Mr. Astaire said. “He was as withdrawn as any person I ever met in my life.”

But, at the end the day it is hard to blame anyone that knew Elliot before the tragedy. His parents were very much aware of his mental state and attempted to give him professional help. A number of people who met Elliot Rodger saw something like the shooting in the future, but no one could stop it from happening, and it seems that no one can be at fault.

The New York Times pointed out that “Most people who go through these steps never act out in a violent way, never go beyond contemplation of it,” said J. Reid Meloy, a forensic psychologist in San Diego and an editor of the International Handbook of Threat Assessment. “You can’t predict who will and who won’t.”

Producers are creating a reality series about traveling to Mars to colonize the Red Planet.

The private spaceflight project, Mars One, is lead by Dutch billionaire and entrepreneur Bas Lansdrop and was announced back in 2011 as a mission to send the world’s first astronauts to Mars.

The plan was to put together a group of people who will go through rigorous training before traveling 300 million miles to Mars to establish the first human colony with no hope of return.

Endemol, a production company has now joined with Mars One as the exclusive production partner to document the different stages of the astronaut selection and training program.

With over 200,000 applicants, 705 candidates will be tested to the extreme and tested by scientists, and astronauts.

In order to qualify for the mission, individuals must meet a level of psychological and physical performance conditions required for the long distance voyage. But, no return trip from the planet is possible. Instead, Mars One will send additional crews every two years to build the colony.

If you were interested in applying, the astronaut selection process is already underway. The first installments of the series is set to begin in early 2015 although no Television network has been announced.

According to a statement today from the partners, Mars One’s mission plan “integrates components that are well tested and readily available from industry leaders worldwide.” Those already under contract with Mars One include Lockheed Martin and Paragon Space Development.

Brady Bunch Actress Ann B. Davis dies at 88

Ann B. Davis, an Emmy-award winning actress died Sunday after suffering a traumatic fall earlier this week. She was 88.

Ann B. Davis won two Emmys for her role on the 1950’s sitcom, The Bob Cummings Show, but her claim to fame was her role as Alice, the joke-cracking housekeeper on the Brady Bunch.

Ann B. Davis‘ agent told NBC that she fell in the shower on Saturday and became comatose. She died Sunday morning at a hospital in San Antonio.

Arsenio Hall could not make it past the first season as CBS pulls the plug after one season and cancels “The Arsenio Hall Show”.

Jay Leno could not help Arsenio Hall make past the first season. After weeks of discussions, CBS Television has made a decision to cancel and not proceed with a second season of the Arsenio Hall Show, even though he secured a two year deal prior to the show aired it’s first episode, according to Deadline.

Leno even surprised audiences in February to give the news of the show’s renewal. But, CBS later changed their minds.

After a promising first episode, The Arsenio Hall Show quickly faded in the ratings and never bounced back. Despite having top notch celebrities such as Prince and Eddie Murphy, the show would never live up to expectations. CBS even tried changing the executive producers at the show in hopes that it would help. But, nothing could be down.

“While there are many loyal fans of the show, the series did not grow its audience enough to continue,” a CBSTD spokesperson said. “Arsenio is a tremendous talent and we’d like to thank him for all the hard work and energy he put into the show. We’d also like to thank Tribune and all our station group partners for their support of the show.”

The Arsenio Hall Show marked a comeback for the late-night host. Arsenio Hall later commented on the cancellation of the series,  “When I started this adventure with CTD and Tribune, we all knew it would be a challenge – I’m gratified for the year we’ve had and proud of the show we created. I’d like to thank everyone on my staff for rallying around me and striving to make the best show possible every night.”

According to Deadline, The movie’s start has moved several times and Will Smith‘s decision to leave came down to timing. Previously, Russell Crowe was tapped to star in the movie. But, Crowe decided to back out of the production.

The movie centers on a world where a rare set of people are born with extraordinary abilities and are called “brilliants.” The movie revolves around a federal agent with great hunting gifts who is drafted to track down a terrorist, another brilliant who is planning to start a civil war.

Will Smith has been highly selective about what productions he will work on. Recently, he declined the offer to reprise his role in Independence Day sequel.

We recently posted a casting call seeking child actors to play Will Smith’s daughter. There is no word as to whether the casting call is still ongoing. We will keep you updated.
