Seeking: People local to Portland, ME to work as EXTRAS on the HULU Original True Crime series: Wild Crime S3.
Recreation scenes filming June 1-6th in Portland, ME.

Seeking:
- Adults and Children local to Portland, Maine who want to appear in Season 3 of “Wild Crime”.
- No prior experience necessary.
- We need lots of people to play various roles; cops, rangers, reporters, cafe patrons.
Pay for extras is $150 for the day.
Roles will typically require a 1-2 day commitment sometime between June 1-6th.
We will also be casting some people who closely resemble the characters involved in the case.
Recreation is looking for an experienced Art Director to join our team. You will work with other talented designers, writers and strategists across multiple disciplines to develop engaging creative solutions.
Our ideal candidate has experience in brand design and digital. Motion design is a plus. This person shows skills as a conceptual designer, but also has the necessary skills to crank out production work when needed. Above all, a drive and passion for the craft of design is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce high-quality visual designs—from concept to execution, with a focus on digital.
- Create and iterate on creative executions that reflect an idea, reinforce/support messaging, and inject aesthetic quality into a brand and/or campaign.
- Push creativity, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of approaching (and solving) a problem within the creative team.
- Mentor, and manage junior creatives.
- Strong leader and collaborator who thrives in a group environment (both in person and remote).
- Use abilities as a brand/product storyteller to develop unique concepts beyond visual.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5-8 years of experience in graphic design in a professional environment.
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications), HCI, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively.
- Experience defining design systems that work across a larger brand.
- Ability to communicate design thinking and process to clients and colleagues.
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams (e.g. writers, account executives, project managers, strategists).
- An awareness of current industry and technology standards that pushes towards cutting-edge innovation.
- Expert in design technologies (i.e. Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail

- Manage multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously.
- Manage creative presentation decks.

- Lead and take part in the entire campaign development process, from establishing objectives until the project is completed and presented to the client.

Job Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or Portfolio School degree in Graphic Design, or a related field is required for this position. Please share with us a strong, creative portfolio showcasing successful campaign work for a range of channels.
- 2-3 years experience in a creative agency or combination of in-house/creative agency.
- Strong conceptual thinker with a passion for design. You have a strong visual eye with good taste, design sensibility, and are detail oriented. Your work is visually powerful, thoughtful, evokes emotion and inspires action.
- Solid understanding of editorial design, typography, photography and illustration.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative partners, you will be paired with Copywriters and art directors.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills for communicating with clients, internal team and management.
- Must have a working knowledge of current and up and coming social media platforms, ideally having worked in the social space for previous accounts. (Platforms include Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.)
- Collaborative and team oriented skills working with members of all different departments.

Position Description – Sports Entertainment Manager
Broad Description of Duties:
The Sports Entertainment Manager is responsible for delivering a magical guest experience for our sports fans. This position will oversee the execution of The Wall sports auditorium and bar operations, as well as overall performance, by developing expedited process and implementing best practices & drink quality. The goal is to achieve revenue, sales/marketing, cost control, quality measures, staffing, associate development and guest satisfaction results.
This position reports to the General Manager.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
· Works with bartenders and other key associates to promote local events and bar promotions.
· Promotes Marcus Theatres Corporation brand, The Wall sports viewing auditorium, and helps create brand awareness.
· Knowledgeable of competitor’s initiatives to structure and strategize to remain competitive in the market.
· Creates, promotes, and supports company-sponsored guest and associate recognition programs.
· Maintains revenue, and payroll expenses, other expenses and profit margins within the budgeted parameters. Implements appropriate action and contingency plans when the bar falls below the established budget parameters.
· Identifies operational opportunities to build sales and control costs; develop and implement plans to address opportunities.
· Responsible for ensuring location compliance with company directed initiatives, state/federal requirements, responsible alcohol service and any additional guest expectations.
· Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated Guests.
· Ensures that the bar and staff are set up for an outstanding shift; from product, to equipment, to ambiance.

· Recruits, selects, and retains a quality staff.
· Trains and develops associates regarding policies, practices and procedures. Mentors associates regarding their growth and development to include providing leadership, praise, and encouragement.
· Conducts performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, counseling, and discharge of associates.
· Informs General Manager on a timely basis of any operational or personnel problems at the theatre.
Administration
· Maintains associate records to comply with all Human Resources and Payroll guidelines and procedures. Ensures timely submission of all associate documentation into Kronos system and to Human Resources Department.
· Schedules associates and maintains payroll within budget.
· Maintains regular communications with theatre and corporate management for specific promotions.
· Monitors alcohol comps and discount to prevent fraud.
· Assist and create reports as needed and when requested.
