Overview:

We are currently seeking real-life subjects for a powerful and sensitive feature documentary. This project aims to explore the personal and emotional aspects of couples facing the decision to terminate a pregnancy. We are not looking for actors for scripted roles, but real individuals willing to share their authentic experiences.

Job Details:

• Project: Feature Documentary

• Shooting Location: Primarily in and around the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. We welcome submissions from across BC.

• Duration: Variable, depending on the individual’s availability and the documentary’s requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

For Couples:

• Willingness to be filmed during various stages of contemplating or planning to terminate a pregnancy.

• Openness to discuss and share personal experiences, thoughts, and emotions related to the decision-making process.

• Participation in various filming sessions, including interviews and day-to-day activities.

For Males (Individual Interviews):

• Readiness to participate in a professional interview setting.

• Willingness to share personal experiences and perspectives on the decision to terminate a pregnancy with a partner.

Requirements:

• Participants must be based in British Columbia, Canada.

• Couples do not need to be romantically linked, but both individuals should be willing to share their perspectives.

• Male interviewees can be of any age and should have either contemplated or experienced the process of terminating a pregnancy with a partner.

• A commitment to authenticity and honesty in sharing personal stories.

• Comfort with being filmed and interviewed by a professional film crew.

Compensation:

• Couples: A flat rate of $5,000 CAD total for the couple.

• Male Interviewees: Participation in the interviews is voluntary and unpaid.

Casting Call: Background Talent for New Feature Film

Job Details:

• Casting Date: 12/6
• Work Dates: Starting from 12/5/2023. Shoots can last approximately 4-12 hours. Applicants must have open availability as dates are subject to change.
• Location: Atlanta, GA area. Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform fun party dances as background talent in scenes, specifically dances like the Electric Slide, Wobble, and Cupid Shuffle.
• Engage with main cast and other extras to create a lively party atmosphere as directed by the choreographer or director.
• Follow instructions from the film crew promptly and with a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Must be skilled in fun party dances such as the Electric Slide, Wobble, and Cupid Shuffle.
• Males and Females of any ethnicity, appearing ages 25-50. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Must have upscale attire suitable for a Charity Ball scene.
• Must use the subject “BALL” when applying.

Compensation:

• Rate: $140 for 12 hours of work.
• Compensation will be provided in the form of a check via payroll company within 2-4 weeks after filming.

Job Details: We are urgently seeking background actors to fill in for a few last-minute cancellations in our independent film, “Green Fairy,” a unique blend of vampire themes with horror, action, and comedy elements. This opportunity involves participation in a pivotal Masquerade scene.

Responsibilities:

• Attend shooting on December 4th and 5th for late night/overnight shoots.
• Actively participate in the Masquerade scene as directed.
