Job Description
A historical project filming in and around Philadelphia this summer is casting non-union local actors for multiple paid roles. This production will shoot in early July (excluding July 4th weekend) and seeks authentic portrayals of historical characters, including Henry Drystreet and German petition signers. Some roles may be double cast for additional scenes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted scenes for a period piece set in early American history

  • Take direction during filming and callbacks

  • Participate in historical reenactments with attention to accuracy and tone

  • Be available for in-person filming in the Philadelphia area

Current Casting Needs

  • Henry Drystreet / German Petition Signer

    • White male, age 50–60

    • Facial hair optional

    • May be double cast as a German Quaker character
