“Incautious” Plot Summary:
A stay-at-home mother struggles to watch over her children as she finds herself addicted to alcohol and other drugs. A broken man takes out his anguish on his wife and children.
Goals for the Project:
I am trying to create a slow burning, tense, thought provoking, dramedy story with very complex characters that convey a wide range of emotions. In addition to giving extensive verbal notes during rehearsals, I provide in-depth written character notes regarding their past along with a Scene-by-Scene analysis for each character. I possess a very close attention to detail and specific vision regarding my characters. I am a very calm person who will never yell at actors/actresses or crew and will treat everyone with the most respect.
Breakdown:
Jen Eaton (Mark and Sarah’s Mom) (Female)-20’s-60’s (Lead):
Warm, upbeat and friendly, but also a bit neurotic and emotional (which becomes heightened when she is under the influence of alcohol or other substances), Jennifer gets along with most of her peers and always does her best to make sure that everyone around her is taken care of. She has strong body posture, speaks at a normal pace and smiles often.
