Job Responsibilities:
- Perform in various roles during “Creatures of the Night” and “Christmas in the Wild” events at ZooTampa.
- Attend fittings and rehearsals to prepare for your character role and ensure proper costume fitting.
- Engage with visitors, staying in character throughout the event to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure smooth operations and a positive environment for all attendees.
- Adhere to the event schedule, including evening and weekend shifts, with a call time around 3 PM.
Requirements:
- Performers aged 16 and up are encouraged to apply. If under 18, parental/guardian consent is required.
- Must be available for fittings, rehearsals, and all event dates as specified by the production schedule.
- Comfortable working evening and weekend shifts, approximately 7 hours per shift.
- Ability to perform in various weather conditions, as the events take place outdoors.
- No housing or travel stipends provided; reliable transportation is necessary.
- Strong availability for all event dates is preferred.
Compensation:
- Pay ranges from $16-$18 per hour, depending on the role.
- Specialty acts may have a competitive pay rate based on experience and role requirements.
