A Toronto-based production company is hiring a non-union videographer for upcoming entertainment, reality TV, and documentary productions in the Greater Toronto Area. This opportunity is ideal for experienced camera operators who are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and can confidently manage both video and basic audio setups.

The production team is seeking a reliable professional who can work independently or as part of a crew while delivering high-quality footage for unscripted television projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality video for reality TV, documentary, and entertainment productions.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and basic audio equipment.
  • Record clean audio using lavalier microphones and handheld microphones.
  • Work collaboratively with producers, directors, and crew members.
  • Follow creative direction while maintaining professional production standards.
  • Travel to production locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area as needed.

Requirements

  • Non-union videographer.
  • Ontario resident.
  • Canadian citizen.
  • Experience filming ENG, reality television, or documentary productions.
  • Valid Full G driver’s license.
  • Skilled in camera operation, lighting, and basic audio recording.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
  • Takes direction well and adapts to changing production needs.
  • Preferred to own professional camera, audio, and lighting equipment with 4K capabilities.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.
