Job Description
Northern Casting is urgently seeking two male-presenting background actors to portray prisoners in an upcoming production filming in Powassan, Ontario. This is a paid opportunity open to both union and non-union performers. Selected talent will appear as background performers and must closely match the specific wardrobe measurements required for each prisoner role.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a prisoner as part of the production’s background cast.
- Follow direction from the assistant directors and production team.
- Maintain appropriate character and continuity while on camera.
- Participate in background scenes as required.
Requirements
- Male-presenting talent, age 18+.
- Must be a Northern Ontario resident.
- Must be able to work in Powassan, Ontario.
- Prisoner 1: Height 6’–6’2″, chest 46–48″, waist 40″.
- Prisoner 2: Height 6’–6’2″, chest 44″, waist 36″.
Compensation

Skateboarders for Paid Background Roles
Job Description
A production filming in Powassan, Ontario, is seeking skilled skateboarders for paid background roles. Casting is looking for young performers who can bring authentic skateboarding ability, confidence, and energetic movement to the production. Both union and non-union talent may be considered.

Job Description

- Minimum 8 hours of pay guaranteed.
