We are casting for featured background roles as Male Antagonists in an upcoming documentary being filmed in the Nashville, TN area (Brentwood). The role requires white males aged 25 to 45 years who can portray antagonistic figures in a sensitive historical scene. The scene involves characters driving to an African American school in the 1960s, confronting the teacher, and attempting to burn down the school. This role is crucial in conveying the tension and gravity of the historical events depicted in the documentary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray a male antagonist driving a manual transmission car from the 1960s.
  • Engage in a scene that involves confronting a teacher at an African American school.
  • Participate in a reenactment that includes attempting to set fire to the school, under the direction of the production team.
  • Follow all directions carefully to ensure the scene is handled with the necessary sensitivity and historical accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Male, White, aged 25-45 years.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle from the 1960s.
  • Comfortable portraying a character in a scene with sensitive historical subject matter.
  • Must be able to work locally in the Nashville, TN (Brentwood) area; no transportation or accommodation will be provided.
  • Must be available for the full day of shooting, with a tentative call time in the early morning (5:00am-6:00am).

Compensation:

  • Rate: $200 for up to a 10-hour day.
