Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated actress to play the lead role of Madison in our upcoming feature film, Nika & Madison. This is an exciting opportunity for a female actor who identifies as Indigenous, aged 20s to 30s, to showcase their talent in a prominent role in a film that is open to both union and non-union talent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character of Madison, a central figure in the narrative of Nika & Madison.
- Collaborate closely with the director, cast, and crew to bring the character to life.
- Participate in rehearsals, table reads, and on-set filming as required.
- Contribute to the creative process by providing insight and understanding into the character’s background, emotions, and motivations.
- Maintain professionalism on set and adhere to the production schedule.
Requirements:
- Must be a female actor of Indigenous background.
- Age range: 20s to 30s.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or a Canadian permanent resident.
- Prior acting experience in film, television, or theater is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to take direction and adapt quickly to changes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Compensation:
