Job Description
A documentary-style PSA is now seeking passionate individuals to share heartfelt stories tied to Canadian content. This inspiring campaign highlights how Canadian film, television, and digital media shape personal identity, community, and culture. No acting experience is necessary—just genuine, emotionally rich stories that reflect your connection to Canada’s screen-based storytelling. Final selections will be filmed for online and festival use and will include an on-camera interview with a celebrated Canadian media personality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Share personal reflections about your connection to Canadian screen content

  • Participate in a professionally filmed on-camera interview

  • Represent authentic perspectives from a diverse range of Canadian voices

  • Help showcase the cultural impact of Canadian storytelling

Requirements

  • Must be currently residing in Canada

  • Open to individuals of all backgrounds and walks of life

  • Comfortable sharing stories on-camera in a documentary-style format

  • Must have access to a Google account to submit your self-tape

Compensation

  • $1000 CAD honorarium (non-union)

  • Travel coverage for selected participants outside metro areas (TBD)

  • Project usage: Online platforms and festival screening

  • Filming scheduled between late July and mid-August
