Casting Call: Full-Time Stand-In Positions
Job Description: We are seeking two professional stand-ins to work on a full-time basis for an upcoming project. The positions will start in mid-March and continue through the end of May 2024. The location of the project is in the vibrant Albuquerque, NM area. The chosen stand-ins will be an integral part of the production, providing critical support to the actors and directors by participating in the lighting, blocking, and rehearsing processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Standing in for actors during the technical aspects of production.
- Assisting the director and cinematographer in setting up shots and scenes.
- Working closely with the entire crew to ensure timely and efficient shooting schedules.
- Maintaining continuity by tracking positions and movements during scenes.
- Being available on-set during all filming hours as scheduled by the production team.
Requirements:
- Height: Between 5’6″ – 6’1″.
- Ethnicity: Black (as specified for accurate lighting and scene setup).
- Must be able to self-report to the Albuquerque, NM area.
- Previous stand-in or acting experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow directions precisely and consistently.
