Job Description
The historical Civil War-era production “A Land Remembered” is seeking men to portray Calusa Indians as background talent. This paid casting opportunity is looking for a variety of authentic looks, with Hispanic, Latino, and other talent with darker skin tones encouraged to apply. Filming will take place in Hudson, Florida, and selected performers will participate in a historical battle sequence.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a Calusa Indian as background talent in a historical Civil War-era production.
- Participate in a staged battle scene as directed by the production team.
- Follow all on-set instructions and safety procedures during filming.
- Wear period-appropriate wardrobe, including a loincloth-style costume, as required.
- Maintain an authentic historical appearance and professional conduct on set.
- Attend a costume fitting if required by production.
Requirements
- Men ages 18–40.
- A variety of looks and ethnic backgrounds are welcome.
- Hispanic, Latino, and other talent with darker skin tones are encouraged to apply.
- Must be comfortable wearing a loincloth-style costume appropriate to the production period.

Compensation
- $200 for up to 10 hours.
- Additional 1 hour of pay for the meal period.
