Waldron Casting is seeking non-union teenagers for background roles in the TV series “Gordie.” Talent will portray high school students in scenes filming in Astoria, Queens, New York. This opportunity is specifically for teens ages 14–17 who meet New York requirements for minor performers and can work professionally as background talent on set.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a high school student in background scenes for “Gordie.”
• Follow direction from the assistant directors and production team.
• Maintain appropriate continuity and behavior throughout filming.
• Arrive prepared with all required identification and performer documentation.
• Remain professional and attentive during production.

Requirements

• Ages 14–17.
• Non-union talent only.
• Must have a valid New York Child Performer Permit.
• Must have a valid trust account established.
• A parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor to set.
• Must bring acceptable original physical I-9 documentation.
• Production is unable to sponsor applicants for work visas.

Compensation

• $187 for 10 hours.
• Non-union background rate.
