Female Set Assistant / Potential Assistant Director for Feature Film

An upcoming feature film is seeking a motivated female set assistant to join a small and collaborative indie film crew. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in film production while working closely with a two-person cast and an experienced creative team. The position starts as a general set support role but has potential to evolve into an Assistant Director (AD) position for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with daily logistics, script notes, and continuity tracking

• Provide light coordination and organizational support on set

• Collaborate directly with the production team throughout the shoot

• Help maintain a respectful, professional, and efficient set environment

Requirements

• Must be reliable, organized, and proactive

• Comfortable working in a small, tight-knit team

• Interest in independent film production; prior experience is a plus, not required

• Open to travel and on-location work in Kentucky

• Female candidates preferred to support cast dynamics

Compensation

• Unpaid position, but travel will be reimbursed

• Room and all meals will be provided during production
