Job Description
A comedic short film, Friends For Life, is seeking a talented Director of Photography to join the production team. The project explores the story of two friends navigating a diagnosis of Influenza F while confronting societal pressures, patriarchy, and their own truths. This is a one-day shoot with a focus on showcasing how cinematic an iPhone can be when paired with professional equipment and a skilled eye for storytelling.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the director to bring the creative vision to life

• Operate the camera using iPhone with professional support equipment

• Capture visually compelling shots that enhance the comedic and dramatic tone

• Work efficiently with the crew to achieve high-quality results in a single-day shoot

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Director of Photography on short films or similar projects

• Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, and shot composition

• Openness to working with innovative tools like iPhone-based filming setups

• Ability to collaborate with a small, creative team in a fast-paced environment

• Reel and professional references required for submission

Compensation

• $250 for a 12-hour day
