If so, then IMPACT might be a great choice for you. As the video marketing producer, your job will entail producing video content that aligns with the brand and mission of IMPACT’s marketing department. You’ll be responsible for storyboarding, shooting footage and editing, managing creative assets, and operating all video equipment.
You will work closely with the marketing team to ideate, manage, and execute projects from concept through completion.
Location: Although we offer the option to work remotely, there will be times when working in-office may be required. Therefore we are only open to candidates that are within driving distance from our New Haven, CT, office.
Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 based on experience.

In this role, you will…
- Own all aspects of video production including, but not limited to:
- Pre-production: scripting and collaboration
- Production: set up, filming and/or repurposing b-roll
- Post-production: editing and publication
- Reporting on video performance and recommendations for optimization
- Transport, set up, and operate our various in-office production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones
- Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
- Collect b-roll footage and film staff, clients, and/or yourself as needed
- Assist in creating and editing social media videos specifically for YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram (Instagram reels)
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to determine new video topics
- Sort through existing video footage and slice and dice, add copy, add background music, or other elements as needed to create powerful video content
- Project manage and maintain a process that will allow you to create multiple videos per week and prioritize work as needed
- Keep up with the latest video and social media marketing trends
Requirements
- Proficient with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or Motion preferred
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
- Proficient at storyboarding, scripting, and concepting
- Experience with creating video content for social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
- A good eye for design
- Understand basic and advanced composition techniques
- Understand the fundamentals of branding
- Detail-oriented and able to identify quality issues in audio and video
- Enthusiastic to be on-camera and able to get others excited about being on-camera
- Experience working with a team around a singular mission
