Freeman+Leonard is seeking a talented Creative Director with 10+ years’ experience in a creative leadership role within a marketing agency with a focus on 360 campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the creative team, inspiring them to push boundaries and deliver outstanding innovative and inspiring work.
  • You will utilize your exceptional knowledge and experience to craft compelling and persuasive content both visually and in written form – experiential.
  • Concept and develop innovative and effective advertising and marketing campaigns that align with client objectives and target audience.
  • Provide strategic guidance and creative direction to a team of copywriters, art directors, designers and motion designers.
  • Provide thoughtful, direct and empathetic feedback to those you manage.
  • Collaborate closely with, and sometimes educate cross-functional teams to accurately assess, advise and kick off client needs and business goals.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate fresh ideas and concepts, encouraging a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Write and edit persuasive and compelling copy for various mediums, including print, digital, social media, video, and more.
  • Ensure all copy produced is accurate, engaging, and consistent with the client’s brand voice and messaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor campaigns, and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and creativity.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with clients, attending meetings and presentations to effectively communicate and defend creative concepts and strategies.
  • Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a creative leadership role within a marketing agency or similar environment with a focus on 360 campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful and impactful work across multiple channels, including commercials, radio, print, and digital.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus points for new technology conceptual experience like (UE5, AI, Etc.)
  • Bonus points for AI usage and prompting knowledge experience.
  • Bonus points for product or consumer electronics experience.
