We are delighted to be offering a 16 month Apprenticeship in our Surgery division at the QMC, Nottingham- NG7 2UH
In the role of Apprentice Colleague Engagement Officer, you will be completing the Level 3 Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship which provides you with a great qualification, along with real hands on experience.
Working within the #NUHSurgery People team you will be responsible for carrying forward our social media strategy, finding new and innovative ways to connect with, inspire and excite our colleagues.
You will create written and digital content and become the go to person for our Surgery intranet site, helping it become the first port of call for colleagues any information they need.
You will be an important part of our work on improving Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity – helping devise and promote initiatives across a range of platforms.

Support the divisional social media strategy for our staff.
Organise, coordinate and assist with the production of videos and other social media content.

process and content creation
The Colleague Engagement Officer Apprenticeship provides hands on experience alongside gaining a qualification in Content Production.
You will be supported to gain confidence and competency in the fundamentals of content production along with your development of knowledge and skills through your academic learning.
You will need to demonstrate excellent levels of commitment to both the qualification and job role, with 80% of the time working and 20% of the time towards your study.

Requirements and prospects
Qualifications Required
4 GCSE’s or equivalent including English and Maths
Relevant GCSE level qualification in media or communications.
Skills Required
Computer literate, with basic skills in Microsoft Office.
Experience of producing content or undertaking similar tasks in a different context.
Examples of where you have demonstrated creativity and communicated ideas.
Desirable – Experience of graphic design, social media or video production.
Personal Qualities
Experience of working in an office environment or equivalent.
