Primary Function

We are seeking an Associate Studio Producer to support studio livestreams and recorded productions from intake to archiving. The Associate Studio Producer will join the Events Management Team, which partners with stakeholders to translate strategic business goals into physical and digital event experiences that build customer relationships, engage employees, and connect us to the community.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Creative Leads and Studio Producer to design and implement a workflow for each project. Adhere to best practices and continually improve the workflow for productions/livestreams
  • Support intake process in collaboration with project team
  • Collaborate with projects team on estimates and establish timelines before production begins
  • Work with project initiators to understand goals and target audiences for productions
  • Utilize studio run-of-show software to plan scripts, rundowns, and studio choreography for live streams and recorded productions
  • Plan, collect, and verify digital media assets required for productions
  • Create graphics for on-screen display and in-studio monitors using templates
  • Work in Control Room and play an active role during rehearsals, live streams, and recorded productions
  • Troubleshoot connectivity with remote guests
  • Communicate with post-production team regarding content edits needed for to distribution of recorded content
  • Operate studio switcher for simple tasks: remote guest connectivity tests and single-contributor recordings
  • Serve in other studio support roles during productions as-needed (floor director, teleprompter operator, etc.)
  • Produce small to medium sized projects in studio
  • Work collaboratively with Studio team to continually improve studio production capabilities
  • Contribute to a productive and engaging work culture, fostering an environment of motivation, growth and enthusiasm

Skills & Qualifications

  • A depth of technical knowledge in production and post-production is preferred, as well as a solid understanding of company tech or a willingness to obtain it
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills
  • High level of sense of urgency; Actively listens to others and acts upon information gained

  • 2+ years’ experience
  • Previous experience working in Live productions

The program will include four days of leadership meetings, general sessions, business networking events and specialty workshops with approximately 600 attendees. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for live events and has past experience in a fast paced live production environment. Professional Qualifications

  • Strong organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 4-5 years experience in film, tv, theatrical production environment

  • Extensive experience in maintaining positive relationships with technical production vendors and deep knowledge of market fair pricing on equipment and labor positions. 
  • Ability to generate paperwork related to production (production schedules/stage layouts/venue floor plans)

Overview

This position is based out of our New York Facility but, will interact with productions based globally. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with production, studio executives and our internal dailies team. The Associate Dailies Producer must be meticulous, responsive, and able to handle multiple projects across various timelines.

Main Duties

  • Serve as the key point of contact between Production and Dailies Operators, distribute dailies related documentation and manage all communications.
  • Work with the Dailies teams and engineering to create and revise custom workflow documentation to production spec.

KRGV-TV, the ABC affiliate in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, is currently seeking: FULL-TIME Associate News Producer.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for news to assist the Producer with writing, editing of scripts, building graphics, ensuring successful execution of live shots; the ability to work well under pressure and deadlines; will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Duties:

    • Candidate must have excellent AP style writing skills and work ethic.
    • Cover all aspects of the broadcast: news writing, editorial judgment, guest booking and coordination of live shots as well as run teleprompter and may perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
    • Knowledge of graphic design is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure: Production jobs have deadlines, an Associate Producer needs to be able to meet the deadline even under pressure.
  • Conflict management: During production work, some conflict will arise, the Associate Producer needs to be able to manage the conflict and provide effective solutions to the issues.
  • Leadership skills: Individual must be able to work with little supervision and self-initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills: Must be able to communicate well with team members to ensure successful broadcast.
  • Flexibility: The working schedule of an Associate Producer is not standard. In fact, the working hours are quite irregular and may often involve weekends or evenings depending on the production. As this job is time-sensitive it may also require extra hours, so flexibility is necessary for this position.

    • Must have had two years of college courses in communication or related field.
    • Candidate must be reliable and have good people skills as well as work any shift…including nights, weekends or overnight.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
    • This position will assist the News Producer.
