To qualify for this position:

 

·        You must have at least one year of video production experience (May include college projects)

·        You must have operating knowledge of 4K DSLR cameras, and Adobe Creative Suite editing software (Premiere Pro and After Effects)

·        A college or trade school degree is preferred

This is a full-time position. Hours are primarily Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Some evening shoots and overnight road trips for out-of-town shoots are required.)

What we need,

The Executive Producer will be the liaison between new and existing clients and the company’s internal resources, including in-house and contract editors, motion graphics artists, colorists, vfx artists, and sound designers. They will cultivate and curate relationships with new and existing clients in order to further grow the company. They will oversee post-production schedules, timelines, and the request and delivery of timely creative feedback from both clients and internal team members. They will be responsible for quality control and the successful execution of deliverables as they serve as a representative for the team in working with clients to manage feedback and deliver revisions on a project.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships.
  • Generate net-new business through industry connections and previous client networking.
  • Create and oversee post-production schedules, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of all content.
  • Develop estimates and monitor budgets based on campaign deliverables/change orders.
  • Oversee and track spending, ensuring projects stay on budget.
  • Draft, execute and adhere to various contracts or agreements.
  • Determine resource requirements and engage third-party vendors as necessary.
  • Evaluate, solicit bids from, and negotiate with vendors.
  • Review, give notes, and distribute internal and external edits to all necessary parties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Post Producer, Supervisor, or Post leadership role.
  • Experience in business development ops and generating new client pipelines.
  • Agency-producing experience and understanding of agency operations and functions.
  • Experience drafting, executing, and adhering to various contracts or agreements.

What You Will Do

Firaxis is looking for an experienced, passionate, and empathetic Executive Producer (EP) to partner and collaborate closely with the Creative Director, overseeing the development of our highly valuable IP. In this role, you will lead and empower a large development team while supporting a healthy and collaborative team culture from the earliest stages of the project through launch and post launch.

The EP will have outstanding communication and teamwork skills and will oversee the roadmap, successful planning and execution for the IP and projects, translating the development needs into efficient pipelines and production strategies. Working with FXS leadership the EP will evaluate and provide input on new franchise opportunities, SKU and platform development, entry into new markets, licensing, and marketing opportunities that help drive franchise performance.

Pairing with the Creative Director the EP will be responsible for communicating the franchise and product vision to key stakeholders and team members as well as be a direct line of communication to our publisher. The EP will articulate and champion the vision to 3 rd parties, the media and other external parties as needed.

Required Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Conceive and execute daily programs incorporating top news stories responsible for on-air look and program format
  • Develop future segments, special event coverage, sweeps planning, incorporating evening anchor talent
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing on topical and special promotion
  • Work with Arthouse on graphic production and art direction
  • Oversee the Platform Managers and Content Producers
  • Collaborate with other newsroom managers for special events planning as well as day-to-day coverage
  • Work with all facets of the organization, including production, IT and engineering to ensure the most accurate and compelling local coverage
  • Responsible for managing the production of news specials, entertainment shows and other productions outside of the regularly scheduled newscasts.
  • Performs as Line Producer and other related duties as assigned by News Director.
  • Contribute to and develop content for digital platforms.
  • Schedule nightside content producers to ensure proper coverage

The Art Director will lead the design team responsible for the graphic, environmental, event and presentation design for Power. This person has experience leading a creative team, as well as being a graphic designer. They understand what it means to create and maintain a brand voice and brand standards in all deliverables, and has experience mentoring less experienced creatives to bring out their best work. This person will support internal and external communications across a wide-range of business verticals including events, technology, product animation, and social media.

We’re looking for a seasoned art director with 10-15 years of demonstrated relevant experience who is passionate about expanding their skills and creative freedom in a new role. This person is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and takes direction well. This role works closely with the entire Brand team, and reports to the Vice President of Creative Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the design department by hiring, training, assigning, scheduling, and mentoring staff, while maintaining your own design workload.
  • Establish art department standards for production, productivity, quality, and client service.
  • Collaborate with in-house photography team to establish brand photography standards.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, editors, videographers and motion graphics on video productions.
  • Ensure team adheres to current processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operations.
  • Develop presentation approaches, styles, and techniques for the team to implement.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer needs, and the competitive landscape, and track campaign performance.
  • Develop creative briefs based on ideas established in brainstorming sessions with direction, schedules, and expected deliverables for the creative team.
  • Delegate projects to in-house designers and oversee storyboards.
  • Obtain team approval by presenting final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations, encouraging members to provide feedback, and responding to internal commentary and requests.
  • Present or oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficiency with design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Exceptional capability with typography, layout, and prototyping
  • Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine art, graphic design, or similar discipline
  • 10 years as a professional graphic designer, 5 years as an Art Director with 4+ years of experience in management role
  • Photography and Video production experience
