Overview 

Crafted is looking for a visionary Senior Art Director to expand our team. Their primary responsibility is to develop and oversee projects from ideation and presentations to execution. Job duties also include supporting the Creative Director with Creative Dept. operations and directly managing the Visual Designers. As well as working with PM to build project timelines and carry out strategic resource planning to meet departmental deadlines efficiently. A Senior Art Director should have a keen eye for coworker’s details and knowledge of creative inspiration to inspire the team. 

 

 Your Responsibilities 

  • Supporting the Creative Director with Creative Dept. operations and directly managing the Visual Designers 
  • Effectively communicate ideas and present work within agency and to customers. 
  • Deliver a wide array of design outputs, including digital, print, environmental, web, storyboards and video graphics. 
  • Provide support to the Creative Director and other key stakeholders.   
  • Capable of working on multiple jobs concurrently. 
  • Establish budgets and timelines and deliver the finished campaign within those parameters.  
  • Concept and create well-crafted designed content. 
  • Collaborate with other departments and contractors to create cohesive, effective campaigns.   
  • Accepts constructive criticism and applies feedback. 
  • Work with members of the Creative Dept. to evaluate client or company needs and create visual elements for campaigns.   
  • Troubleshooting problems as they arise.   

  

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Currently playing a Senior Art Director or Art Director role 
  • 5+ years of creative experience within an agency. 
  • Conceptual thinker that brings ideas to life in a unique way. 
  • A portfolio of distinctive and exceptional art direction using print and digital, including large campaigns. 
  • Design degree or creative/design-based education.   
  • Supervisory experience required. 
  • Great communicator who can present, think on the fly and work capably across teams. 
  • Desire to work collaboratively as part of a larger team and can self-manage. 
  • Manage photography and videography shoots with the internal team and hired vendors 
  • Understanding of motion graphic design/animation or editing. 
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to construct presentations. 
  • Ability to meet high standards for quality and accuracy under tight deadlines. 
  • Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication, listening and coaching. 
  • Must demonstrate a solid understanding of current creative media, mediums and trends. 
  • Experience with Adobe and a myriad of creative platforms and tools.   

 

AGENCY OPPORTUNITIES 

  • Growth from this position could lead to Associate Creative Director. 
  • A qualified Associate Creative Director candidate should be creative with strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills. The chief responsibility would be to manage projects or clients independently from the Creative Director, although the Creative Director has the final say.

The Content Director plays an essential role in leading our Content Marketing practice area. This role oversees all content marketing initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads and customer loyalty. The ideal candidate is an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, customer experience, localization, analytics and measurement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice; optimized for search and customer experience for all channels of content (online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person) for each buyer persona
  • Map out short- and long-term content strategies that support and extend marketing initiatives and determine which methods work for the brand and why
  • Develop multi-channel content calendars defining the owners in each vertical
  • Lead and mentor our internal and external team of writers to ensure all content is on brand and effective
  • Employ the best practices in grammar, messaging, writing and style
  • Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness
  • Gather data and analytics to make recommendations based on those results
  • Evolve standards, systems, workflow and best practices for content creation, content distribution, content maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies
  • Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics that support a point of view for target personas
  • Lead the maintenance of content inventories and matrices
  • Ensure consistent global experience and implement appropriate localization/translation strategies

 

Your Required Education and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related Communications field
  • Passion and enthusiasm for content marketing, branding and demand generation
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and innovative team environment
  • Successful experience in the following:
  • Developing content marketing programs for B2B brands, preferably related to manufacturing, that are optimized to drive revenue and MROI
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team in multi-channel content creation (publishing, journalism, etc.)
  • Creating compelling messages for different target personas
  • Experience with or understanding of AI-generated content tools
  • Leading and inspiring teams of creative and content contributors to achieve client goals and objectives
  • Creating an organized library of content for client-specific SEO, translations and version control

Crafted is looking for a knowledgeable Art Director who will concept, design and coordinate resources to create original creative for our B2B customers. 

The Art Director will meet with clients and internal departments to discuss and establish project objectives, research current trends and the target demographic and troubleshoot the visual needs of a campaign from the initial planning stages until the finished campaign is presented. 

The successful Art Director is an experienced creative and multitasker with exceptional project, time management and communication skills. You should be punctual, perceptive and detail-oriented with a great mind for developing and realizing the vision of the campaign. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver a wide array of design outputs, including digital, print, environmental, web, storyboards and video graphics. 
  • Provide support to the Creative Director and other key stakeholders. 
  • Develop design concepts and creative solutions that meet clients’ business objectives and budgets. 
  • Working with other members of the art department to evaluate client or company needs and create visual elements for campaigns. 
  • Speaking with the company or client to set goals, provide updates, receive feedback and present the final campaign. 
  • Conduct research to better understand brand objectives, target markets and industry trends. 
  • Collaborate with other departments and contractors to create cohesive, effective campaigns. 
  • Establish budgets and timelines and deliver the finished campaign within those parameters.

Your Required Education and Professional Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience within an agency or marketing organization delivering high-end creative for demand generation programs with the above-listed responsibilities. 
  • Ability to work autonomously; self-sufficient and personally motivated to deliver excellent work and results.
