NOW CASTING 2 PAID MINOR EXTRAS (Ages 4 & 6) to portray CAST MEMBERS CHILDREN extras for the new NETFLIX & TYLER PERRY movie “MEA CULPA” filming here in Atlanta, GA. 

The film, written, directed, and produced by Perry, follows a criminal defense attorney who, hoping to become a partner, takes on the case of an artist who may or may not has murdered his girlfriend. He features an all-star cast, including Kelly Rowland, Trevante Rhodes, and many more!

We are casting for the following specific extras for scenes:
– 2 MINOR CHILDREN (Boys and Girls)
The cast who portrays the parents has a very light brown skin tone.
Filming: Friday, March 10, 2023
Testing: (Covid Test: Thursday, 3/9 @ 6 AM-9 AM)
Race: African American (Lighter skin tone)
Age: Between four years old and six years old
Rate: $100/10 + $25 Covid Test

WE ASK THAT WHEN BOOKED AS A PAID EXTRA, YOU BE PREPARED TO WORK AT LEAST A 12HR WORK DAY AS WE DON’T KNOW HOW LONG YOU WILL BE, SPECIALLY ON SET… SO PLEASE HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY FOR THE DAY YOU SUBMIT FOR.

COVID TESTING:
The new studio policy is that 1 MANDATORY COVID TEST the day before work is required whether you are vaccinated or not. You will be paid $25 for each test taken.

Must be available for COVID-19 testing at our remote testing location in Atlanta. No outside Covid test from anywhere else will be allowed. If interested in working this position and these dates, testing goes as stated above with the specific filming dates.
-Testing is NASAL PCR, and you will receive a $25 COVID TESTING BUMP on your voucher the day you report to set for each test taken. I’D LIKE YOU TO PLEASE REPORT TO SET TO RECEIVE THIS BUMP! Tests from other productions are invalid on this set as each show has its Covid guidelines and labs. Your results must come from the designated lab that all cast and crew use on this production.

The rate for minors on this production is $100 for 10hrs of work, which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.

PIANO MAN!

This post is for a featured PIANO PLAYER (male) 40–70 years old for this extra (non-speaking role). They will not be picking up your sound. However, you need to know how to play piano so it looks natural.
They will have a piano at the House Party filming in FLOSSMOOR, Illinois.

The scheduled dates of this upscale party are March 16th AND 17th. However, you would need to be flexible enough if any of these days change. 

You need to be available all day/night. Not sure of the hours yet. You will most likely go very late.
It would be best if you had reliable transportation. Parking and meal are provided. 
Rate of Pay: $123.20 for up to 8 hours, plus overtime at time and one half. Plus, a $20 bump.

Call times for the shoot days will be determined closer to the workday. Workdays could last from 10 to 12hrs depending on the scenes you are shooting. With that being said, if asked to work, you will be expected to have open availability for a FULL 12HR DAY!

The producers have placed the rate for CARS on this production at $150/8hr + $25bump for Covid testing, which you will receive as a check in the mail. After 8hrs, it will be time and a half. THIS IS JUST FOR THE CAR, NOT FOR IF YOU ARE BOOKED AS AN EXTRA!

If booked as an extra w/ your car, the rate for paid extras on this project is $100/8hrs of work (time and half after) + $25 bump for Covid testing + payment for the car, Which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail two weeks after filming.
