Job Details: Milo Casting is searching for passionate small business owners of all kinds in Ontario to feature in a national commercial. The commercial aims to showcase the diverse range of small businesses operating in the region. Whether you own a restaurant, a retail shop, a trade-related business, or offer personal services, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities: Selected small business owners will be featured in a national commercial, representing their businesses and the entrepreneurial spirit of Ontario. During the shoot, you will be required to share insights and experiences related to running your business. Previous on-set experience is not necessary; we are looking for authentic and real business owners who are passionate about their ventures.

Requirements:

1. Age: Small business owners aged 25 to 60+ years old.
2. Location: Ontario, Canada (ONTARIO RESIDENTS ONLY).
3. Business Type: Open to ANY small businesses, ranging from 2 to 20+ employees, including but not limited to:
   • Food/Hospitality (e.g., Restaurants, Cafes, Bakeries, Tea Shops, Wine Shops, Catering, Food Trucks, etc.).

   • Trade Workers (e.g., Construction Company / Contractors, Home Renovation, Landscaping, Handyman services, Janitorial services, etc.).
   • Business Services (e.g., IT Support or Consulting Services, Mobile App Development, Product Subscription Box Company, etc.).
   • Retail Shops (e.g., Shoe Store, Boutique Clothing Store, Bookstore/Comic bookstores, Florist or Flower Shop, Equipment store, Antique Store, Honey Maker, Etsy store owner, etc.).

Compensation Details: Business owners selected for this campaign will receive:

• Payment: $3500 for their involvement in the commercial shoot.
• Locations Fee: Additional $2500+ if the shoot is conducted at your premises (outside of peak business hours wherever possible).

CASTING CALL: BOULDERING GIRLS!

Job Details: We are looking for enthusiastic girls aged 10 to 13 and their fathers aged 39 to 45 in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for an exciting bouldering project. The girls should be experienced and comfortable with bouldering, while fathers can be beginners. This is a non-union project; you don’t need any prior acting experience. The selected participants will be compensated for their time and contribution.

Job Responsibilities: Selected participants will be filmed and interviewed as they embark on a bouldering adventure. The filming will take place over one day, and participants will showcase their passion and skills in bouldering. It would be best to be outgoing and comfortable being on camera and participating in interviews.

Requirements:

• Girls aged 10 to 13 with bouldering experience.
• Fathers aged 39 to 45. Bouldering experience is not required for fathers.
• Participants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must be available for a brief interview with the director on August 2nd if shortlisted.
• Able to participate in filming around the Greater Toronto Area.
• Available for a wardrobe appointment on August 14th (approximately 2 hours).
• Available for filming on August 15-18th (one day of filming).

Compensation Details: Selected participants will receive the following compensation:

• $75 for the wardrobe appointment.
• $200 for travel time (if applicable).
• $500 for one day of filming.
• If footage featuring the selected participants is used in the final commercial, an additional $2,500 will be granted for its use.
• If still photographs of the selected participants are used, an additional $1,000 will be granted for their use.

Job Details: We are casting for an exciting non-union project centered around a Latinx family. We are specifically seeking Latinx individuals to portray Grandfathers (ages 55-70), Mothers (ages 25-35), and Boys (ages 4-7). This one-day filming opportunity will take place in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.

Job Responsibilities: As a selected participant, you will be part of a heartwarming and authentic portrayal of a Latinx family. The commercial will capture genuine interactions and moments that reflect the warmth and joy of a close-knit family. We highly encourage you to apply if you have experience playing soccer, as some roles involve soccer scenes.

Requirements:

Job Detail: We are casting for a fun new commercial and seeking outgoing individuals, ages 25-50, who often take lunch breaks together from demanding jobs in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You can apply as an individual or in a group of 2-4 co-workers who work in physically demanding professions, such as construction workers, landscapers, tradespeople, first responders, fitness instructors, warehouse workers, mail carriers, nurses, etc.

Job Responsibilities: If selected, you and your co-workers will be featured in a lively commercial showcasing the camaraderie and daily experiences of colleagues who share lunch breaks. The commercial will highlight the importance of bonding moments during busy workdays. It would be best to act naturally and authentically in front of the camera, portraying genuine dynamics and friendships among co-workers.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be aged between 25-50 years.
• You should be outgoing, expressive, and comfortable in front of the camera.
• If applying as a group, ensure there are 2-4 co-workers aged 25-50 years.
• Co-workers should have physically demanding professions (as mentioned above) to fit the theme of the commercial.
• All applicants must be in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Job Detail: We are casting for a commercial project centered around food delivery services. The commercial will be used for digital social media platforms and print advertising.

Job Responsibilities:

• The selected Delivery Driver will be required to portray the role of a professional and efficient delivery person.
• Showcase exceptional delivery skills while handling food packages, ensuring a positive and appealing representation of the delivery service.
• Follow the director’s instructions and bring authenticity and enthusiasm to the role.
• Participate in the filming of scenes featuring delivery scenarios.

Requirements:

• All applicants must have a VALID CANADIAN DRIVERS LICENSE and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Previous experience in food delivery services (e.g., Doordash, Uber Eats, Lift, Pizza, etc.) is highly desirable.
• BONUS points if you are currently employed as a delivery person, as it will add to the authenticity of the role.
