Project Sports Drink is seeking an experienced basketball player to portray the role of “Thomas” in an upcoming commercial shoot. This non-union project will be filmed in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The role requires an athlete who can embody the character of Thomas, the older brother and coach of “JJ,” showcasing his mentorship and passion for the game.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray “Thomas,” the older brother and first coach of JJ, who motivates and pushes JJ to be his best on the court.
  • Demonstrate authentic basketball skills while conveying the character’s supportive and competitive nature.
  • Collaborate with the director and production team to deliver a performance that highlights Thomas’s role as both a mentor and a skilled player.

Requirements:

  • Male, aged 17-30, Black.
  • Basketball player preferred; must have real basketball experience and be comfortable performing on-court skills.
  • Available for a 12-hour shoot day and a wardrobe fitting session.

Compensation:

  • Wardrobe Fitting: $75 for a 2-hour session ($50/hour).
  • Session Fee: $600 for a 10-hour day, with overtime at $75/hour.
  • Additional buyout: $3000 for a 6-month term, with the option to renew for two additional 6-month terms with a 10% bump.
