Job Description
Casting real people for VR teacher training videos designed to support early childhood education. The project will feature authentic, heartfelt performances from individuals portraying parents or caregivers sharing personal, emotional stories. Filming will take place in the Greater Vancouver or Sea to Sky area. The performances will appear in 360° live-action video scenes that provide emotional context for VR educational simulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a parent or caregiver in intimate, conversational VR scenes

• Deliver natural, honest performances that feel genuine and unscripted

• Work collaboratively with the director to achieve emotional authenticity

• Engage with camera and dialogue in a calm, grounded manner

Requirements

• Non-union

• Ages 30–50

• Must be local to the Greater Vancouver or Sea to Sky area

• Open to teachers, coaches, caretakers, parents, and other real people

• Comfortable delivering emotional, heartfelt dialogue naturally

• Must embody the tone of sincerity and vulnerability

Compensation

  • Female, 30–40: Vulnerable, relatable, and honest; portrays a parent

  • Male, 35–50: Warm, steady, proud; portrays a foster parent

  • Female, 35–50, Indigenous: Calm, grounded, emotional, and reflective; portrays a caregiver

Job Description
A real estate development project is now seeking real people and families for a lifestyle photoshoot that captures authentic, everyday moments. The shoot will take place in Greater Vancouver, with sessions scheduled in two parts. The project is looking for individuals and families who reflect warmth, connection, and natural on-camera presence.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a professional photoshoot representing real families and individuals

• Take direction from the photographer to capture natural and candid lifestyle images

• Portray a relaxed and genuine attitude suitable for real estate marketing visuals

Requirements

• Must be based in Vancouver, Sea to Sky Corridor, or Greater Vancouver

• Open to non-union talent

• Casting for the following roles:

  • Young family: Two adults (ages 30–40) with one child (ages 3–8)

  • Mature couple: Two adults (ages 50–80)

  • Individuals: Men or women ages 50–80

• Must be comfortable appearing on camera for web, social media, and print use

Compensation

• $500 per day

• $1,000 for usage (4 years)

• Total compensation: $2,000
