Our entertainment client is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to serve a critical role as a primary point-person for all social media programs, and provides best-in-class support to bring those programs to life. The Coordinator works across all aspects of social media, including but not limited to scheduling, asset management, campaign assistance and production assistance.

This is a 12+ month contract, hybrid role with 3 days per week onsite in Burbank.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the social title marketing team as a creative voice on campaigns
  • Scheduling and uploading social posts and assets to content and asset management systems
  • Creating work orders for all video and design requests
  • Preparing and organizing weekly assets for social media managers to use for social calendars
  • Manage talent assets and talent integration
  • Coordinate with Affiliate Sales & Marketing to schedule any video content needed for specific affiliate campaigns
  • Be responsible for auditing and maintenance of content on various platforms post-launch
  • Update department documentation (rollout documents, presentations, campaign plans) as needed
  • Assist the social title team with additional tasks as necessary as well as serve as back-up for other department coordinators when needed

JOB DESCRIPTION/FUNCTION: The YouTube Channel Manager will execute a publishing and growth strategy focused on key Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. Brands in the Kids & Family Digital Studio. This manager will oversee the day-to-day operations for select channels within the Nick and Nick Jr. portfolio of YouTube Channels. This Manager is expected to become an expert on YouTube/social video best practices and Nick’s digital content.

The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven channel management expert certified in

YouTube channel growth (among other YouTube certifications) with a proven track record of

developing audiences and increasing engagement on the YouTube platform.

This candidate will help develop and execute a strategy to grow their channels and help formulate KPIs in concert with various cross-departmental stakeholders. Finally, this candidate should be an enterprising and highly collaborative leader able to coordinate closely with all programming calendars, creative teams, audience development, analytics, and our YouTube partners. 

NOTE: Los Angeles candidates are preferred, but open to New York candidates as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the upload/publishing and optimization of content to their assigned YouTube channels and oversee general day to day operations
  • Work with analytics and audience strategy teams to develop and optimize titles, tags, descriptions, cards, playlists, thumbnails and other content/features across the channel(s)
  • Support short-form content strategy development by providing regular YouTube analytics content performance insights
  • Work with producers and post teams to track content delivery and maintain master publishing schedules/calendars
  • Leverage TubeBuddy, Tubular Labs, and other platforms to share additional insights with relevant partners
  • Regularly report and share channel performance with senior creative and business stakeholders
  • Work in sync with Paramount Piracy team on content ID strategy and best practices
  • Attend weekly brainstorms and scheduled interdepartmental meetings
  • Update team on progress/status/issues/troubleshooting on a weekly basis

Desired Skills/Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of experience working in Digital Media for a content publisher or agency
  • Demonstrated passion for youth-oriented media, YouTube and the social video space
  • Past experience writing social media copy, video titles and descriptions (SEO knowledge preferred)
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience using YouTube’s Creator Studio or Content ID back-end tools
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with high proficiency in English copy
  • Experience interpreting data, building presentation decks and sharing analytical conclusions

The Influencer Relations Manager will be responsible for helping build & develop influencer relationships with key partners. They will oversee the gifting, mailer, and seeding structure within the brand. This person will maintain the day-to-day management of our influencer partnerships to drive brand awareness/equity, support new product launches, and help grow share of voice in social media through strategic brand collaborations and always-on influencer marketing strategy.

This role requires the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions while being creative. Must excel at being detail oriented and organized with the ability to move quickly. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables

  • Work with our Creative Director and Marketing Department to create and produce compelling, high-quality visual content.
  • Manage the day-to-day production schedule and activities of the Media Department.
  • Oversee every aspect of video creation including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Create and manage annual budget, tracking video and animation project costs.
  • Create production calendars, and schedules, making sure each project is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Hire and manage contracts and invoices of freelance videographers, editors, and various production staff.
  • Maintain quality control in regard to our brand, adhering to brand standards with all content.
  • Provide creative and practical input during all production phases.
  • Full digital data management: Managing, Coordinating, and archiving all video assets, including past video projects.
  • Must be (and continue to be) up to date on new cutting-edge trends in video production and storytelling.

  • Experienced Executive Producer with a proven track record.

Associate Producer (Chinese) – Mobile Games

As the Associate Producer (Chinese), this person will handle frontline communications with development teams for clear messaging on production and live operations of mobile games. This staff member will handle the life cycle of launched games as well as become a control tower for the titles they represent. They will also be charged with proofreading and approving localized content as well as communicating with the appropriate parties and vendors for said translations and keeping up with basic approval processes for assets and text.

Operational duties:

  • Developer communication
  • Cross functional internal communication with QA, CS, UA, Marketing, Operations, etc
  • Management of production schedules, in game events, notices, timelines, as well as other various and typical game operations tasks
  • Basic oversight of community / social media / customer service
  • Language Interpretation with external or overseas partners

Localization duties:

  • Translate and localize in-game text, user interface, and other game strings as needed
  • Manage quality and schedule of external localization vendors or by localization coordinators
  • Assist in planning localization projects and updating various localization process documents as projects are received and completed
  • Localize pitch documents and proposals to Asian developers and/or IP holders
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Chinese and English
  • Project coordination skills
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in video game development.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end localization process for games or software products
  • Excellent English written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to cultivate productive and positive relationships with external partners, managers, and peers
  • BA/BS or 2+ years equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of performance metrics, KPI, and basic reporting

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Department: Production

Reports To: Regional Director of Production

Location: New York City or Los Angeles

BMF is a collective of Cultural Engineers headquartered in NYC with offices in Miami, Los Angeles, and London. We are a global, full-service integrated marketing agency, specializing in event design & production, brand marketing, marketing strategy, sponsorships, talent management & bookings, publicity, and social media & influencer relations. We constantly strive to expand our offering as an agency.

Our growing and dynamic production team is now looking for a senior, experienced Executive Producer who will be responsible for producing large scale projects as well as managing production teams across multiple projects on behalf of the company’s top clients.

As an Executive Producer at BMF, you possess in-depth experience strategizing and producing a wide range of events. You can manage multiple priority projects and can envision the big picture while working hands-on to create and implement tactical solutions. You are excellent at working with Account, Creative, and Strategy and teams to ensure logistical and budget feasibility. You have a keen eye for detail, time management, team coordination, problem-solving abilities, and budgeting. Most importantly, you will actively produce and oversee project teams while managing budgets of $1MM+. You will work with Account, Creative, and strategy teams to deliver and execute flawlessly across multiple regions and categories

What a day in the life will look like:

Departmental Management:

  • Provide production expertise and leadership – guide internal teams to anticipate and meet client goals/objectives, and foster organic growth
  • Contribute to day-to-day management of internal and freelance producers, ensure projects are on track and reconciled in a timely manner
  • Provide departmental administrative support including signing off on invoices, reviewing contracts, ensuring credit cards are reconciled, and budgets are closed
  • Assist in production staff planning for both long-term and freelance for all offices
  • Support overall budgeting process to ensure profitability
  • Provide coaching and managerial oversight to junior staff

Production:

  • Oversee and occasionally manage all facets of pre-event production, onsite management, and post-event breakdown.
  • Able to oversee multiple events from beginning to end, often occurring simultaneously.
  • Able to work closely with Account teams on client communications and deliverables
  • Create, manage, and oversee complex event budgets, from concept to reconciliation to ensure profitability.
  • Oversee venue scouting and selection.
  • Work with Creative and Client Services teams to ensure the client’s vision is being met.
  • Guide project team in the selection of high quality, vendors, including venue, catering, décor, fabrication, audio, lighting, photography and staffing.
  • Work with BMF talent and influencer department to secure talent and fulfill riders if needed.
  • Partnering with BMF Client Service leads to ensure successful client communications.
  • Responsible for ensuring teams create and maintain key event documents including budget, activation deck, recap deck, run of show, work back schedule, contact list.

Pre-Contract Production Support:

  • Contribute to the development of creative pitches/proposals ensuring budget and executional feasibility. When necessary, work hand in hand with a creative strategist to develop alternative concepts to fit within project confines.
  • Responsible for overseeing pricing out of creative concepts, and production budgets generation included in proposals.
  • Provide pre-contract departmental support including vendors; and participating in client pitch meetings.
  • Strong working knowledge of new, unique venues and cutting-edge vendors
  • Attends weekly brainstorms and RFP meetings.
  • Working with Talent and Digital departments in securing talent and fulfilling riders if needed.
  • Responsible for overseeing adherence and quality control to BMF processes and key event documents including budget, activation deck, recap deck, run of show, work back schedule, and contact list.

What you need to succeed at BMF:

You must have:

  • At least 8-10 years combined experience in Events or Experiential on the agency/contractor/client side
  • Five years minimum of experience as a Senior Producer in an agency setting and comfortable/measurable experience
  • producing budgets of $1mm and up
  • Exceptional budgeting skills.
  • Extraordinary organizational and management skills, strong ability to multitask.
  • Deep knowledge of cutting-edge venues, vendors and tastemakers.
  • Ability to develop and communicate experiential creative concepts and ideas.
  • Background in managing teams.
  • Strong mentoring capabilities.
  • Experience in staff planning against projects in the pipeline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Keynote.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
