Quad is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Junior Producer for our studio in Coraopolis,

PA producing branded photography for Dick’s Sporting Goods. The Junior Producer is responsible for overseeing photo

and/or video projects from start to finish, ensuring they run smoothly and seamlessly, while reporting on progress to senior

team members.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing both small and large-scale projects
  • Supporting team members to maximize productivity
  • Ensuring projects stay within timescales and budget
  • Structuring projects and devising processes that ensure efficiency
  • Generating clear and succinct project reports
  • Engaging with creative teams to understand their progress with tasks
  • Liaising with clients and members of the creative team, to keep projects running smoothly
  • Presenting work to stakeholders for sign-off
  • Initiate bids from photographers, modeling agencies, stylist agencies, location scouts and freelancers
  • Develop and manage shot lists for custom photography projects and production timelines
  • Coordinate procurement and return/donation of product(s) for shooting
  • Creation of purchase orders and processing of invoices for all outside vendor costs
  • Work with vendors to insure timely completion of projects
  • Develop and refine process to increase productivity without decrease in quality
  • Handle multiple project timelines and budgets simultaneously
  • Route materials for both internal and external client approval
  • Communicate with client service teams and vendors during all stages of project(s)
  • Ensure that adequate levels of content production are maintained, and such production is of a high standard of quality


Qualifications

  • Degree in Photography, Media, Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Business Management or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years professional industry experience producing in a high-end, high-volume photography studio for retail advertising,
  • catalog, or other commercial photography
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work
  • An understanding of both technical and creative processes
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Confidence to drive a team in order to get the best results for a project

The Associate Producer will work directly with the Lead Producer for all of Nerd Street’s tournament streams running from Localhost Philadelphia aka “The Block”. This position focuses on live production support inside Nerd Street Gamers Production Control Room. Logistical aspects of this role include Replay Operation, PTZ camera systems, Ross Xpression, audio/video signal routing and technical directing whenever necessary.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist the Lead Producer with all setup and pre-production roles including but not limited to: A/V signal routing through Ross Ultrix, graphics setup through Ross Xpression, camera painting and preset definition through PTZ controller and transmission setup.
  • Assist with any and all live production roles as assigned by the Lead Producer including but not limited to: Technical Directing, Replay Operation, CG Operation, PTZ Operation, and transmission monitoring.
  • Assist the Lead Producer with studio and equipment upkeep tasks, including but not limited to: Updating Windows and software on any and all machines, installing new software as necessary on any and all machines, cycling rechargeables to prevent overcharging (belt packs, AA/AAA batteries for IFBs/mics, camera batteries, etc), wiping down equipment and screens in studio space, emptying waste bins in dumpsters and other general maintenance related tasks.
  • Operate as Technical Director during remote broadcasts from vmix flypacks stored and maintained at “The Block”

Non Essential Job Functions:

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Producer, Director of Broadcast Operations and Vice President of Media.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Experience using flypacks and studio broadcast equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge of broadcast equipment and best practices
  • 2+ years in the esports industry and/or broadcast live events
  • Vast knowledge of gaming across multiple genres
  • Experience with the Google App Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud

Skills and Abilities:

CASTING FEMALE NEWS REPORTER-TYPE FOR HORROR FILM — PAYS $200

  • We’re looking for a Black, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, or Asian woman age 30-45 to portray a TV news reporter in the low-budget horror film “The Decedent,” filming in Pittsburgh. The rate is $200 for one day. 

You should have previous on-camera experience and be available to work as a local in the Pittsburgh area on either Dec. 10 or Dec. 11. There is no mileage, hotel, etc.

NOW CASTING EXPERIENCED ACTORS FOR LOW-BUDGET HORROR FILM “THE DECEDENT”

We’re currently casting several roles in “The Decedent” an upcoming film about the surprising legacy left by a recently deceased serial killer. The film shoots in Pittsburgh between Dec. 1 – 10. 

Pay is $200/day + 10% agency fee. Actors must be local to Pittsburgh, as there is no hotel, mileage, per diem, etc.

ROLES

  • MARK: 30 to 40 years old, white, Black, or mixed ethnicity male. Police officer and former boyfriend of the lead, Bella. This clean-cut, square-jawed, former military-type responds to her call for assistance. Works 3 days.
  • STEPHEN: 55 to 65 years old, white male. Bella’s loving father and owner of the funeral home. Warm personality and kind face. Grounded but a little aloof. Works 3 days.
  • OTIS: 55 to 65 years old, white male. A dead serial killer who appears as a re-animated corpse. Should be able to deliver monologue almost as if it was something out of Shakespeare. No nudity, but must be comfortable wearing briefs while playing an embalmed corpse. Works 2 days.
  • TEEN BOY: 18 to 22 years old, white male. A drug addict and thief who breaks into the funeral home to steal formaldehyde. Should be comfortable naturalizing written dialogue. Works 3 days.
  • TEEN GIRL: 18 to 22 years old, white female. A drug addict who helps her boyfriend break into the funeral home to steal formaldehyde. Should be comfortable naturalizing written dialogue. Works 3 days.

CASTING NEW AND EXPECTANT MOTHERS FOR TV COMMERCIAL. RATE IS $1,500!

We’re looking for new and expectant mothers plus their families to appear in a healthcare commercial filming the week after Thanksgiving.

Filming will take place via Zoom webconference, so you won’t have to leave home. This is a nonunion commercial with no previous experience required. The rate is $1,500 per family/household. 

–REQUIREMENTS– 

You must be a PA resident and be available between 8AM – 4PM on at least one day between Nov. 29-Dec. 3.

You and your family should fit into one of the following roles:
