Job Detail: We are seeking New York-based actors, aged 20-30, with a visible and physical disability, to participate in a heartwarming Non-Union Bank Commercial. The commercial aims to showcase a group of friends, known as the “Plant Posse,” who share a passion for gardening and love to gather together to exhibit their plants. The casting requires explicitly one of the friends to have a visible disability, which could include using a mobility device (wheelchair, cane, crutches, etc.), a limb difference, a little person, a person with Down Syndrome, or any other visible physical disability.

Job Responsibilities: Selected actors will be part of a diverse and inclusive group of friends, portraying camaraderie and enthusiasm for gardening in the commercial. The commercial will focus on the genuine joy and connection shared between the friends as they interact and display their plants. The chosen actors must bring authenticity and positive energy to their roles while highlighting the importance of representation and diversity.

Requirements:

Job Details: Cocoa Butter, an online media company, is seeking HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) students and alums for a fun and delicious taste-testing project. The selected participants will be tasked with trying and rating each other’s boxed Mac and Cheese dishes to determine who prepares the best version.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Attend the shoot on 8/18/2023 in New York, NY, and participate in the taste-testing event.
  2. Test each other’s boxed Mac and Cheese dishes based on flavor, texture, presentation, and overall appeal.
  3. Engage in friendly discussions and commentary about the dishes on camera.

Requirements:

Job Detail: We are seeking non-union male actors in their mid-late 50s to audition for the role of LOU in the upcoming production of the new play, “BETTINGER’S LUGGAGE.” The play, written by Al Tapper and directed by Steven Ditmyer, will be presented at the AMT Theater located in midtown Manhattan. Set in 1974, the play revolves around the life of LOU, a prominent Jewish father with a strong personality and deep-rooted opinions about life, who wishes his son to follow in his footsteps. Despite his quick temper, he has a humorous side and values his family and NYC’s Lower East Side neighborhood above all else.

Job Responsibilities: The selected actor will portray the character of LOU during rehearsals and performances. They will work closely with the director, and fellow cast members to bring the character to life and accurately depict the emotions and nuances required for the role. The actor is expected to promptly attend all scheduled rehearsals and performances and cooperate with the production team.
