• Portray a character in line with the character breakdowns provided, bringing authenticity and depth to real employee stories.
• Work closely with the director and production team to achieve the project’s vision.
• Attend scheduled auditions, rehearsals, and shooting dates, fully prepared and on time.
• Provide feedback and collaborate with the production team to ensure the representation is accurate and respectful.

Character Breakdowns:

1. Carlos: Male, 40-60, Latino. Must convincingly portray living with Generalized Anxiety Disorder or Mental Illness.
2. Mary: Female, 20-40, Open Ethnicity. Must portray a character living life in a wheelchair or some form of mobility support.
3. Eilena: Female, 35-50, BIPOC. Must convincingly portray living with progressive hearing loss.
4. Kathy: Woman, 35-50, AAPI/Native/Moir/Middle Eastern/Ethnically Ambiguous. Living with a chronic but unapparent illness.
5. Liv: Woman, 25-40, Open Ethnicity. Must convincingly portray a character living with rheumatoid arthritis and being a caregiver to a special needs, neurodivergent, or disabled child.

Requirements:

• Must fit the age and ethnicity requirements as stated for each character.
• Ability to portray the nuances of living with the specified conditions or disabilities.
• Previous acting experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be available for in-person auditions on January 24, 2024, and for shoot dates on February 1 OR 2, 2024.
• Must be non-union talent.

Compensation:

• Rate: $1,500 + 20% for a 10-hour session.
• Session Fee: $750/10 hours + 20%
• Travel Fee: $375 per travel day + 20%
• If self-driving, mileage will be reimbursed at $0.67 per gallon.
• Per-Diem: $55 per travel day.
• Usage: None – for internal training purposes only.
