Responsibilities

CREATE:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to market the company and create brand awareness
  • Create, write and proof original written content that is contextual to each social channel and aligns with the brand strategy and company culture to review with social media manager in the form of post copy drafts, story boards, journalistic interview questions & prompts for social features & to promote engagement, etc.
  • Utilize basic video, photo editing and design skills to produce graphics, short videos, and animations for
  • social posts

CAPTURE:

  • Identify and organize opportunities to capture social media content at our office, with local partners, and on external jobsites.
  • Comfortable capturing footage from a phone, GoPro, and/or camera, and editing short videos and photos for social posts
  • Be available for occasional work outside of normal working business hours for monitoring our social channels and capturing event-related content when necessary.

COLLABORATE:

  • Work with the marketing team to manage the social media content calendar
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal teams to get the assets you need and to align with company-wide and industry-wide initiatives
  • Collaborate on design and marketing projects from ideation to execution with the marketing team

ENGAGE:

  • Own community development, not only monitoring and responding to comments, but actively engaging others with our industry, establishing networks with industry leaders, as well as with clients & potential clients
  • Consistently brainstorm to identify new ideas and strategies to drive engagement and audience growth, sharing new marketing ideas and inspiration

ANALYZE:

  • Actively research industry-related news and client-related news, as well as trending topics within the Construction Industry (events & education, industry advancements, widely recognized dates within the construction community)

Qualifications

  • You know what type of content works best on each channel: namely Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as keep up with happenings on more trendy channels like TikTok
  • You know the fundamentals of Adobe Creative Suite and are someone who can constantly generate/source ideas and can tap into resourcefulness to get things done effectively.

We are looking for a Director, Branded Creative that will ideate and develop creative concepts for both 3BLACKDOT Owned & Operated (O&O) Content Lifestyle Brands, as well as built-if-sold digital content series and branded campaigns that live on talent channels, and which are financed by third party brands. This is a heavily integrated role that will work cross-functionally on the development, organization and execution of these projects with our internal marketing, content, production, talent, and sales teams as well as having presence with external clients. The Branded Creative Director will manage projects from start to finish and is responsible for delivering final work to spec on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the creative lead and represent the marketing mindset on creative projects involving brand partners

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in digital branded entertainment creative development and production. At least 3 years should reflect hands-on involvement in production.

The Director of Music is responsible for all aspects of the music program at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church including but not limited to weekly worship music, musical performance groups, annual church musical, and the concert series.

Role and Responsibilities
To creatively schedule worship details with the pastoral staff
To provide weekly worship music that includes keyboard
To assess the viability of hand bells, children choirs, and other ensembles and lead those groups as necessary
To recruit church members for various musical functions within the program
To develop and manage a budget necessary to conduct a successful music program
To organize and coordinate a committee of volunteers to promote a concert series for the church membership and community
To maintain the instruments purchased for use and to recommend future acquisitions

Qualifications and Education Requirements
A degree in church music, music education or applied music that provides an individual both the musical skills and the people skills to perform individually, as well as to work with individuals and groups of all ages
A solid background in church history, hymnody, choral music (both traditional and contemporary) and a willingness to develop knowledge of the Lutheran liturgies
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Friendly and professional communication skills

Techead is working with a growing digital marketing agency in Richmond, VA to help them find an experienced Sr. Art Director for a full-time position.

As a Sr. Art Director, you will focus on the visual development of the creative product, working closely with the Creative Director and other team members to ensure the quality and integrity of the product meets or exceeds product vision and pushes the boundaries of competitive visual execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizes great design in digital, motion, print, and environmental channels.
  • Provides creative solutions that deliver on the brief in unique and innovative ways and maintain an exceptional design aesthetic.
  • Utilizes animation and video to deliver engaging content and customer experiences.
  • Collaborates and leads projects that focus on UX and information architecture across multiple channels.
  • Creates design that translates across platforms and campaigns.
  • Establishes and maintains very aggressive deadlines for meeting the demands of multiple client projects.
  • Troubleshoots and devises solutions with both the internal team and external clients.
  • Coordinates and directs other creative team members, including copywriters and designers, to ensure the successful outcome of campaigns and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 to 9 years of experience in art direction and design.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a visual arts program or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Previous experience establishing and maintaining very aggressive deadlines for meeting the demands of multiple client projects.
  • Previous experience in animation, digital and print media.
  • Strong understanding of creative for content, direct response, social media, and mobile applications.
  • Must be proficient in Sketch and Adobe After Effects as well as the entire Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft applications.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, and high graphic standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

JOB SUMMARY: Working under the strategic direction of creative director, responsible for the design integrity of marketing communications, strategies, campaigns and programs. Provides art direction/graphic design, development of brand creative concepts and seamless execution. Personally, works on the graphic development of key brand(s) campaigns and programs. Teams with copywriters and other creatives to develop creative concepts and more. Works with Project Managers to understand creative assignment, timeline and budgets. May serve as team leader/mentor for creative associates (artists, UI/UX designers, copywriters, photographers, etc.) on campaigns or projects. Ensures work is consistent with UOR design quality and brand standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

CREATES & DIRECTS COMPELLING ART/GRAPHIC DESIGN

  • Leads small team of art and design staff for assigned brands, campaigns, and programs in the creation of fresh, compelling creative that adds to the UOR customer experience and builds equity in the brand.
  • Brings fresh direction and insight while maintaining
  • visual integrity, brand standards, and excitement of the brand.
  • Pursues creative excellence by staying abreast of award-winning design and consumer engagement trends
  • Provides detailed direction to designers and assists in the development of designers and others on team
  • Reviews all work submitted to ensure its quality, strategic integrity, and appropriate integration with brand campaigns and projects.
  • Helps facilitate creative meetings.
  • Oversees editing of the finished campaign/art/visual communication
  • Concepts and creates storyboards for video concepts

Maintains Solid Understanding OF UOR Core Business, Brand Portfolio, Brand Standards and Target Audiences

  • Stays abreast of brand standards and LP standards
  • Stays abreast of design trends particularly in travel, tourism and entertainment industry.
  • Stays abreast of consumer and marketplace trends particularly in targeted demographic groups (teens/tweens, families, Hispanic, Floridians…) and channels.

TEAMWORK/COLLABORATION

  • Interacts with copywriters and other creative team members to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned campaigns and projects.
  • Partners with producers on selection of photos, models, stylists and stock photography.
  • Works closely with Project Managers and effectively manages partner expectations regarding design deliverables.
  • Maintains and encourages an open line of communication with other team members.

PRESENTATION SKILLS

  • Makes presentations to internal clients.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design or closely related), combined with outstanding creative portfolio.

EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of experience in large volume or in-house advertising agency or marketing environment. Portfolio of relevant creative work is required to be considered.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in concepting, developing, and producing creative campaigns and materials.
  • Experience with a wide array of media including video, print, broadcast, social, online, outdoor and events/displays.
  • Experience in like industry (travel, tourism, entertainment) and with like targets/demographics (teens/tweens, vacationers, Floridians, Hispanics) a plus
  • Proficient with design applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and Keynote as well as a thorough working knowledge of video, digital and print production.
  • Requires strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of videography, photography, typography, and printing
  • Collaborative/Team Oriented – ability to manage challenging situations
  • Interested in social and cultural trends
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
