Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church is located in Marin City, CA and we are seeking a part-time Music Director. This is a contract position with a salary dependent on experience.

Guiding Principles of Worship at Saint Andrew Presbyterian

1. Sunday morning worship service shall be conducted live and in-person with musician present

2.  Creation and maintenance of a choir for the spiritual and musical development of membership

3. Open to all genres of music with the most prominent of which is the African American religious tradition

Number of hours worked per week: 6 – 8 hours for a Traditional Sunday Service (including 1 choir practice per week) Must be available for three special services (Christmas Eve, Emancipation Service, and annual concert practice and preparation for special services shall be negotiated)

Summary: The Music Director guides the church music program at our multi-cultural, multi-racial African American Church to include traditional Presbyterian hymns and/or contemporary music, utilizing and directing a volunteer choir and/or building a contemporary music team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Ensure that appropriate music is chosen for each Sunday and special events, in consultation with Pastor.

·  Lead choir and/or music team during worship on Sunday mornings.

·  Work with pastor to ensure the best worship experience possible every Sunday morning and holidays.

·  Must be proficient at playing piano to accompany choir and congregation in singing.

·  Must be physically present when directing music online. Prefer someone who understands Zoom and online technologies.

Qualifications:

·  Must be a proficient pianist and accompanist. Experience with a broad array of church music, including contemporary worship music preferred.

·  Must be an excellent communicator, comfortable with verbal, written and electronic communication.

·  Must be familiar with or become familiar with the unique worship tradition of the African American Church as it applies to church music.

·   Must be able to work effectively with volunteers.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in music or 2 years church music experience. College music students are welcome to apply. Must be able to read music. Someone with previous experience directing choirs is preferred.

Work Environment

Must be available to work on Sundays and Church holidays, particularly Christmas, Holy Week and Easter. Must be willing to work additional hours, as needed. Must be able to make time during the week or before services to lead, coach and instruct volunteer choirs and musicians.

Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President – Americas Marketing & DTC, this role will lead the Weber Creative Team to develop and execute a wide range of creative strategies and executions for the Global and US businesses, inclusive of new product assets for all launches, support for marketing channels with special focus on owned channels, packaging, digital content experiences and more. Proven experience working with internal and external teams and agencies to contribute to and deliver against an insightful, well-coordinated integrated marketing plan is essential to being successful in this role. The person in this role should be prepared to flex both their creative and analytical muscles in the following areas.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Report directly to VP of US Marketing & DTC
  • Serve as an active member on Weber’s Brand Council, a group designed to develop global brand fundamentals, short and long-term brand building strategies and clear guidelines that drive consistency across Weber’s brand efforts.
  • Support Brand Council’s vision for Weber’s brand creative expression with particular attention to the definition of Weber’s brand voice, look and feel. Strongly influence the messaging strategy and creative expression of brand, product and content marketing campaigns.
  • Drive exploration and strategy during the entire creative process, from concept through completion.
  • Develop original, breakthrough creative ideas for a variety of marketing and brand experience touchpoints (brand foundation, video, campaign, packaging, social media, CRM, point of sale, owned retail, etc.).
  • Work across functions, balancing the needs of partners and break down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.

  • Act as a promoter for the Weber Creative Studio. Be an active participant in the creative community within and outside of Weber.
  • Has an ability to guide team through high demands, complex processes and a matrixed organization, ultimately leading to high productivity and streamlined workflows.
  • Manage and grow a team of designers, production artists and copy writers.
  • Fluent in different types of campaigns including awareness, lead-gen, and engagement.

  • Ability to work on a range of digital experiences from landing pages to comprehensive sites – and to propose full Consumer Experience optimizations, in addition to copy and content.

The Law&Crime Network has an immediate opening for a freelance Research/Associate Producer to work on a new long form documentary series led by Executive Producers Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz , Emmy award winning investigative journalists.

The Researcher/AP will assist producers in all aspects of story development and production – research, shooting, writing and editing . This position is responsible for archival photo/video research, including rights and clearances , preparing transcripts, organizing elements for writers and editors, help coordinate field shoots and various production work as needed.

Requirements:

We are looking for applicants with at least two years of professional production experience in long form projects with expertise in FOIA requests, Lexis Nexis research, archival film and photo research and knowledge of rights and clearances . Candidates with should have basic video editing experience , familiarity with organizing materials for the edit room.

We are a collegial team in a small shop looking for detailed oriented, creative, high energy candidates. This is an excellent opportunity for entry level applicants with solid writing, creative and technical skills aiming for a career in long form production.

Set in 1860s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children. With a superior score of treasured songs including Whistle a Happy Tune, Getting to Know You, and Shall We Dance, The King and I is a testament to the lavish heritage of gloriously romantic musical theatre.

For practical reasons, children must live within easy travelling distance of central London –no more than 1 hour away. Please do not suggest children who live outside this area. We are looking for three teams of children to share the following roles – this means when touring in the UK, they will mostly only be away for half a week, with a week off before the next dates. Tutoring will be provided whilst away where required.

ROYAL PRINCES (aged 9-13) (Male) We are looking for young looking 9-13 year old boys, to play Siamese Princes. All children need to be confident singers. Boys voices must be unbroken. All need to be able to pick up simple movement routines.

All submissions for these roles must be of East Asian,South East Asian or mixed heritage thereof in appearance.
