The Role

As the leader of monetization you will be responsible for maximizing our partners revenues on a day to day basis with support of a team of 3 direct reports. Reporting directly into the General Manager you will help lead the strategic agenda of the department. Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve yield and develop new revenue opportunities.
  • Establish processes and build automation that allows scaling from hundreds of partners to thousands.

We are now looking for a Partner Manager focused on Streamers and Gaming Creators to join our team. Working from either Los Angeles, San Francisco or remotely you’ll help ensure streamers and gaming creators have success on Oooh. The Partner Manager will be responsible for driving all facets of streamer partners’ participation on Oooh from on-boarding, to monetization and overall content strategy. You will be the front-facing lead driving the growth of our streamer and creator partners and the face of Oooh to these communities. The bar is very high, but we’re excited to make this as fun, challenging and rewarding for the right person.

Ideally, you’ve done it before, and you have spent time working with gaming creators at the biggest UGC video platforms like Twitch, YouTube, etc., and have a contact list full of creators, managers and influencers you call ‘friends’. If you are right for this role, you know so much of this type of work is built off long-term trust and genuine connection.   • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Have negotiated, closed and executed on a variety of partnerships involving streamers and have first-hand knowledge of the standard contracts and terms used in these deals.
  • Well-versed in the revenue models used by streamers and the corresponding tech platforms and creator tools they use.
  • Have managed other partnerships, account managers, and support roles within a content platform.

Details

Implements individual giving strategy to fulfill and grow $250k annual target. Designs and implements a comprehensive donor cultivation and stewardship plan inclusive of direct mail appeals, digital campaigns, engagement opportunities, and other outreach and communication strategies; engages stakeholders and identifies, cultivates, and solicits donors; drives expansion of the membership program, the Music Forward Alliance; works with the marketing team to increase annual revenues sourced through digital and in-person activations including auctions. Manages contributor communications, mailings and other outreach. Develop, recommend, draft and execute contributor communications. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure communications align with the Music Forward brand and coordinate with other departments and external vendors to ensure timely deployment within budget. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Create culture-driving, business-building, big brand work in every medium, from mass broadcast film and web video, to targeted social and influencer campaigns, to attention-getting activation and experiential programs

• Craft hard-working, smart, and fun copy for packaging, POS, websites and a variety of other brand and corporate needs, including content to support our Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Wellness, and Sustainability efforts

• Concept and produce content at the forefront of new media and technology, including e-Com, mobile gaming, DCO, DTC and everything else that’s new and next

• See your ideas through from concept to execution, working with producers, project managers and other internal and external partners to execute with brilliance

• Collaborate with the Brand Design group to bring to life ideas in print, OOH, digital, retail, and social as needed

• Proactively identify opportunities to tap into or incorporate the latest trends in pop culture, creativity, executional approaches & techniques, and broader inspirations, innovations and interruptions

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

•A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Copywriter (Sr., ACD or CD) at an agency, brand, publisher, or social media platform

•A killer portfolio of often funny, always entertaining, culture-driving work that demonstrates your ability to come up with simple, original ideas and innovative approaches across channels, especially in digital and social

•The breadth of skills to tell stories and to craft clear, persuasive copy in a variety of mediums, from long copy to short
