One of our large financial services and technology clients is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Creative Director to join their in-house agency team for an exciting all-new position.

This Creative Director will be reporting directly to the company’s ECD and responsible for developing creative B2B content and performance marketing solutions while communicating, executing and sustaining cross-platform strategic initiatives.

The Creative Director must be comfortable remaining hands-on when it comes to concepting, obsessed with execution and a deep understanding of production, and able to direct and lead the creative function to support the strategic goals of the organization and its brands.

Ideal Creative Director candidates will have:

– At least 8+ years of in-house creative department or agency experience; preferably both

– BA degree in design, art direction, communication advertising or a related field

– Solid understanding of creative, brand, marketing, customer experience, design, and content strategy

– 2+ years experience directing a team of graphic and motion designers on executing creative assets both campaigns and presentations

– Experience in advertising or marketing for the financial services and/or FinTech industry

Job Responsibilities:

– Lead ACD’s, designers and copywriters in the development of innovative, creative, campaign concepts based on insights that increase brand awareness, solidify client loyalty, and ultimately drive sales

This role will oversee a dynamic team of operations associates, photographers and retouchers within the JD/Finish Line Indianapolis Photo Studio. This is a key role in ownership of day-to-day operational performance and quality of execution in production of images for the JD Finish Line brand.

The Photo Studio Production Manager for JD Finish Line will perform the following duties:

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day studio photography output quality and production volumes
  • Lead a team consisting of operations associates, production photographers and retouchers
  • Coordinate communication between Operations, Photography and Retouching teams to maintain operational efficiency and seamless movement of physical product and digital assets.
  • Partner with Photo Studio Director to develop relevant KPIs and daily/monthly/quarterly goals. Tracks volumes and productivity and reports weekly, monthly and quarterly to the Photo Studio Director
  • Manages the acquisition of vendor imagery for all dropship business needs
  • Work as part of the studio management team to create a production plan and make adjustments as needed
  • Manages the merchandise tracking/workflow systems (Creative Force) and the individuals leveraging them to increase productivity and availability of product
  • Document, use, and champion best practices across all production job families
  • Develop and manage production processes in the studio for each functional area, partnering with Styling, Video and Special Photography teams as appropriate
  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting schedules, targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Track and communicate status around timelines, and deliverables.
  • Motivate, support, and provide guidance to the production teams to meet productivity goals

Required Computer and/or Technical Skills:

As a video director at DJI, you will be responsible for creating high-quality videos. This full-time role combines your on-set experience, post-production, and client (agency) knowledge, to work with creators around the world to execute exciting video campaigns.

You will be collaborating with the global marketing team, design/copy/social teams, KOL partners, and R&D teams, to push the boundaries in visual advertising.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is an experienced communicator, a humble problem solver, and a passionate filmmaker who is flexible and willing to put in the work with the team. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming creative concepts and collaborating with the local LA video team, and working with global partners to shoot and edit our product introduction films.

We rely on your technical experience, as well as innovative thinking to create visuals that articulate our product messaging well, and inspire our viewers. We also need you to be a great communicator who can articulate visuals verbally, as well as on paper to create beautiful proposals that spark new ideas.

You will be joining a small but growing video team in LA, taking on multiple product campaigns assigned by our HQ team. Together, the team will be expected to ideate, present, and execute at a high creative level that continue to push our boundaries.

In the first 90 days, you will be expected to familiarize yourself with our internal processes, including our creative process, presentations, and approval processes. Salary Range: $100,000-120,000

  • Lead the creative development process with internal teams in the following areas: creative resourcing, timeline management, budget management, creative project team management, cross-functional communication, creative strategy, marketing share-outs, legal approvals, and production hand-off to deliver exceptional creative.
  • Establish, collaborate, and manage cross-functional business relationships with multiple teams: Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Creative, XFN Production, Legal, and BA team to drive creative projects to meet business objectives, creative objectives, and timing and budget requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies and production partners on the development of marketing campaigns

Mandatory:

JOB SUMMARY: The Creative Director will manage the day to day operations of the creative team. The Creative Director is able to interpret internal business needs and client briefs, translating them into elegant, creative solutions. This role is well versed in time sensitive requests, serving as a skilled leader who oversees a creative team (including, but not limited to: content and video producers, graphic designers, and photographers). RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creative Leadership: Possess excellent supervisory, people management, and leadership skills in order to lead and inspire, hire, develop, and oversee the creative team.

  • Digital Engagement: Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with the Digital department and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Distill abstract business concepts and client needs into refined, elegant creative solutions.
  • Product Consistency: Ensure that all of Giant Noise’s and client’s creative output/visuals are consistent across channels.
  • Network Building: Continually develop and maintain a roster of trusted freelancers and contractors who can be called upon for specialized projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry Experience: Creative Direction experience (10+ years). Preference will be given to candidates who have experience creatively directing complex solutions for digital products. Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a creative vision that matches client briefs.
  • Managerial Experience: (5+ years) Extensive supervisory experience (including leadership, team-building, and delegation) leading and managing a creative team.
  • Education: A fine arts degree (preferred) or an undergraduate degree in graphic design, visual communication, typography, or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Adaptability: Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements and scope adjustments, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
