In house Creative Production Agency is seeking a Digital Senior Art Director and lead the dynamic world of motion graphic art direction for long-form broadcast projects and select short forms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership:Spearhead strategic art direction for video projects, collaborating closely with internal clients and teams.
- Team Management:Lead and mentor a team of talented artists, including motion graphic artists, 3D animators, and video editors, ensuring the highest quality output and adherence to project timelines.
- Concept Development:Develop multiple concepts and present them to brand, creative, and executive teams, with the ability to promptly receive and respond to feedback positively.
- Motion Graphics Expertise:Utilize industry-standard software and tools to create and direct compelling motion graphics, visual effects, and animations.
- Trend Awareness:Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure motion graphics executions and techniques remain cutting-edge and complement the launch of new products within our brands.
- Project Management:Collaborate with producers and project managers to ensure the team produces content meeting our standards within timelines. Effectively communicate plans, strategies, and concerns, and be flexible in adapting to changes.
Attributes & Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing design systems, typography, and ideally, broadcast motion graphic packages.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. 3D expertise is a bonus.
- Strong communication, project management, and client management skills.
- Storyboarding and animatic skills/experience preferred.
Education and Experience:
- 6-10 years of experience in an agency or creative department.
- Experience working with major brands.
- Preferably holds a degree or accreditation in graphic design and/or motion design.
