As a video director at DJI, you will be responsible for creating high-quality videos. This full-time role combines your on-set experience, post-production, and client (agency) knowledge, to work with creators around the world to execute exciting video campaigns.
You will be collaborating with the global marketing team, design/copy/social teams, KOL partners, and R&D teams, to push the boundaries in visual advertising.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is an experienced communicator, a humble problem solver, and a passionate filmmaker who is flexible and willing to put in the work with the team. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming creative concepts and collaborating with the local LA video team, and working with global partners to shoot and edit our product introduction films.
We rely on your technical experience, as well as innovative thinking to create visuals that articulate our product messaging well, and inspire our viewers. We also need you to be a great communicator who can articulate visuals verbally, as well as on paper to create beautiful proposals that spark new ideas.
You will be joining a small but growing video team in LA, taking on multiple product campaigns assigned by our HQ team. Together, the team will be expected to ideate, present, and execute at a high creative level that continue to push our boundaries.
In the first 90 days, you will be expected to familiarize yourself with our internal processes, including our creative process, presentations, and approval processes. Working with our video producers, a balanced understanding of both marketing and production needs will be crucial to execute a high level of quality on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities include:
• Ideating and executing multi-deliverable video campaigns from start to finish. (This may include directing/editing duties)
• Preparing and presenting video strategy proposals
• Curating and managing external creative partners who will be tasked to execute all or part of a product intro campaign.
• Curating visuals and music for mood board/videos, motion boards, shots lists, scripts etc.
• Vetting and selecting film crew and post team members to ensure high quality production quality across the board.
• Taking onus of creative communication with external teams and internal departments.
• Working on a daily basis with post-production partners and external creators, and make creative decisions with the Sr. Director and Producers to achieve the highest quality possible.
• Attending video meetings to accommodate for global time zones with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements include:
Experience:
• You have at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in film productions or creative agencies.
• Client Experience with global brands and accounts.
•Experience working with remote teams such as KOLs, crew members, and influencers/creators in various locations.
•Experience with travel jobs, branded documentaries, as well as commercial and film production.
Skills:
• Good multi-tasking skills, detail-oriented, and solution-focused in high-stress environments.
• Excellent time management and meticulous organization.
• Strong ability to discuss and articulate creative ideas, but don’t mind getting your hands dirty if need be when it comes to production or post production (editing, motion graphics, sound mixing, color grading)

DJI
DJI is looking for a Junior Influencer Marketing Specialist with prior marketing experience who is passionate about DJI products and is eager to build meaningful partnerships with influencers, content creators and external partners to create inspiring content and to promote DJI brand and products in North America. You will have the opportunity to support North America KOL campaigns including new product launch promotions, product reactivation promotions, and other content creation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborating with marketing manager to develop influencer marketing strategies and implement the campaigns;
2. Identify the best external partners (mainly DPs/producers/content partners/social media influencer), according to different marketing needs, negotiate and manage contractual commitments, build and maintain proactive and positive relationship with external partners.
3.Proactively seek and develop new integration opportunities in film/TVc/commercial project in videography and filmmaking industry.
4. Activate partners to contribute to DJI’s product launch campaigns and content creation projects, speak at DJI events, beta test and provide feedbacks to new products;
5. Manage video and photo content delivered by partners from sourcing to approval to publishing to storing on DJI’s content library;
6. Coordinate with other teams and brand partners to distribute DJI content and increase impact;
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above;
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, video production or business development, familiar with videography/filmmaking/photography industries;
• Ability to manage and build relationships with DJI’s existing and prospective partners (influencers and content creators);
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; Strong analytical skills, high business acumen, and self-driven;
• Successful candidates will demonstrate a high degree of tenacity;
Preferred:
• Experienced in influencer sponsorships, cross-team coordination and/or project management

Responsibilities include
Ideating video strategy for campaigns
Articulating visual and written language into a compelling creative proposal, with a clear video structure and creative approach.
Articulate the creative vision and leverage external collaborators to create more efficiency in executing projects, as well as directing, shooting, and editing internally produced projects when necessary.
Following through the campaign from beginning to end, communicating with all stakeholders, and pivoting/puzzle piecing as necessary to hit deadlines.
Coordinating and transferring footage with internal and external collaborators and vendors to execute all deliverables at the highest quality possible on time and on budget.
Work closely with internal producers, and various marketing teams to deliver assets and requests
Delivering finished deliverables that are equivalent to or exceed industry standards.
Requirements:
5~7 years of working experience in the industry (at least 2-3 years of commercial work)
Capable of being an independent director and editing capabilities with high standards of creative output and planning.
Familiar with client communication and production processes.
Experienced with post-editing software, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects, with motion graphic and color grading experience.
Have good knowledge of various cinema & prosumer cameras, and have the ability to shoot independently.
Ability to work under pressure with good professional ethics.
Understands the importance of cross-departmental communication and coordination.
