ABOUT THIS ROLE 

VVK PR + Creative is looking for a Senior Video Producer + Writer to join the creative production department who will report directly to the VP of Creative Production. As a Senior Video Producer + Writer, you will be responsible for ideating, writing and producing video projects ranging from 30-second commercials to long-form storytelling.  You will work closely with our filming/edit team and other key team members across the business to ensure the final product illustrates our creative vision while addressing client needs.  You will be client-facing and be able to lead the conversation while understanding client concerns.  

This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone with five or more years of producing high quality video content and handling projects from concept to completion. The Senior Video Producer will work closely with the eight-person video production team and engage with the public relations department and leadership to ensure alignment across business objectives. If you have a desire and acumen to manage projects and team members, that would be great.

 

Creativity is key for this position. We produce broadcast commercials, digital marketing content, and even episodic stories and we need someone who will push the envelope of great storytelling, effective project management and creativity. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead and execute branded and creative content 

• Pitch, plan, and shoot image/branding campaigns for clients 

• Be a project lead 

• Gather feedback by asking the right questions from the stakeholders/clients to ensure the video represents said objectives 

• Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. 

• Possess confidence with clients, in the edit room, and on the set. 

• Have a professional demeanor with community partners and lead all shoots. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent editing and proofing skills.

• Develop scripts for video shoots and broadcast-style productions for online and social media. 

• At video shoots, give feedback to individuals on look and positioning. 

• Provide excellent logistic support for on staff and freelance crew so they can focus on creative content.

PubMatic seeks an experienced Director of Product to lead our Video monetization product roadmap and drive the strategy and execution of our rapidly growing portfolio of video monetization products. Within PubMatic, the monetization product team is responsible for the product strategy and roadmap of all of PubMatic’s monetization and ML products. As the Director of Product for Video monetization, you will join PubMatic’s monetization product team and will be responsible for all of PubMatic’s video monetization initiatives. This role provides an experienced product leader with a unique opportunity to spearhead products in a fast-growing format within our omnichannel portfolio.

The Director of Product, Video Monetization is responsible for driving and implementing product strategy for a growing market of video publishers and buyers. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of successful product launches and a full grasp of the digital video advertising space and its evolution over the last 5 years. They will have a good grasp of programmatic advertising from the buy and sell side. They will have a full spectrum of product skills. This includes evangelizing their products, assessing competition, defining vision and collaborating with engineering, operations and marketing to drive the successful delivery and adoption of their platform. A nice to have is an understanding of streaming services, other distribution channels and ad stitching companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Own overall product vision, strategy, and execution of PubMatic’s video monetization roadmap
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders across the company, including Sales, Account Management and Marketing, to develop a product roadmap
  • Research, refine, and document product requirements by collecting feedback from customers, partners, and business teams
  • Own backlog grooming and prioritization while collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Consult with Engineering to estimate, prioritize, and understand the underlying technologies and trade-offs required to deliver strong solutions to production
  • Lead an Agile Engineering scrum team(s) to deliver value for customers quickly, iterating on a path toward long-term goals
  • Strategize with Customer Success and Product Marketing on new product launches, customer adoption, and measuring success
  • Understand and educate marketing and customer-facing
  • buy-side and sell-side teams on the video landscape, key factors, key indicators and how we will take advantage of them.
  • The position will require some domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience with at least 3+ years in adtech, preferably video programmatic advertising.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to drive product decisions based on data
  • Experience building and managing new ML products from ideation to launch
  • Deep knowledge of product development lifecycle and go-to-market tactics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership track record.
  • A self-starting nature – demonstrating leadership, judgment, planning, and strong decision-making skills
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with teams including Sales/Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success
  • Understanding of existing video ad technologies (VPAID, VAST, SSAI etc) and the industry challenges with programmatic video advertising
  • Exceptional client communication and interaction skills, including the ability to communicate with client and business teams to gather and validate requirements.
  • Experience managing product strategy and roadmaps for monetization or growth areas is a big plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Video Audition Instructions:

1.First 30 seconds: Improvise a scene where you portray a powerful, rich executive. Showcase your attitude, demeanor, and dialogue.

2.The next 1 minute: Sit in a chair with arms on the armrests, as if restrained. With one shoe off and feet appearing restrained resting on something, wiggle your toes and laugh heartily, as if being tickled. This is to test how realistic your acting looks against our animated feather within the game programming.

 

Compensation:

A flat rate of $1,100.00. $550 up front before filming begins, and then the other $550 upon completion of filming.
