An Executive Producer at MAL must be a natural leader; perpetuating MAL culture and setting the example for what a MAL producer should be. This role requires innovative thinking and a hands-on approach. We want someone who can lead a team, has a strong understanding of the technical side of digital production and who can foster flawless execution in production. This person should have deep connections in the digital world, a highly collaborative attitude, and a commitment to doing whatever it takes to make great work.

The Work

  • Serve as a key partner to Account, Creative, Strategy and Media counterparts
  • Collaborate across all disciplines to ensure digital advertising is represented and stays parallel to traditional creative

development process:

  • Work with internal creative and production teams to determine the best ways forward
  • Oversee and adequately communicate production realities
  • Create production timelines and budgets

feedback & balanced workloads to grow appropriately

  • Manage a portfolio of work:
  • Manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Review all project briefs for timing and resource assignments
  • Provide prioritization guidance for project teams
  • Evaluate vendor needs and manage accordingly
  • Cultivate relationships with creative and strategic teams to help them understand the limitations, possibilities and ongoing learnings within the digital space
  • Work closely with Media on domestic and global media plans to determine the appropriate strategy for each creative launch and ensure flawless technical execution on each build
  • Create, shepherd, and champion ideas – partner with Creative Technologists to continually push the limits for what’s possible and help expand our technology practices
  • Develop a deep understanding of agency processes, tools, and capabilities to get the work done effectively and efficiently. Beyond this, think outside of the box to problem solve new work processes & solutions that may not be the ‘norm’.
  • Responsible for handling challenging conversations through the production process
  • Collaboration & People Management:
  • Maintain strong, trusting, open relationships with internal departments & global MAL counterparts
  • Manage vendor relationships; including active evaluation of new vendors
  • Ensure proper training of production team within the pod & share best practices or learnings within the department
  • Model exemplary time management and communication skills to producers
  • Partner with other EPs on producer staffing, training and development for the team
  • Actively track progress of producers through regular performance check-ins, ensuring they have clear goals, direct

The Influencer & PR Executive will be a key team member working in our Manchester HQ. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Influencer & PR Executive will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies for influencer marketing, press outreach and creative brand marketing. Focusing on increasing brand awareness, audience growth, as well as driving traffic and revenue via our online channels and other platforms.

The ideal candidate will be both creative and analytical, work well under pressure, and be a great team player with excellent communication skills. You will be acutely socially aware and full of ideas, reacting first to marketing trends and initiating those best suited to our audience and brand messaging. 

As a global business, it is expected that the candidate is comfortable with working some irregular hours as well as travel when required.

This is a truly hybrid role, spanning influencer outreach, PR, events management and creative brand marketing. A great opportunity for anyone looking for a new role within marketing or a recent graduate with relevant experience, who is eager to learn in a fast-paced role. Whilst is is currently a 12 month FTC, there is opportunity for an extended, full time position.

Job Role

Work within a fast-paced beauty marketing team to create and execute marketing activity across brand and digital channels.

Sourcing and securing locations for shoots and general logistics planning, including arranging travel and accommodation for crew and models. 

Maintaining and developing good relationships with stylists and model agencies. 

Assisting with crew and model bookings, including rate negotiation with agencies to keep in line with strict budgets. 

Planning and coordinating influencer events including product launch parties and blogger events. 

Building and maintaining relationships with influencers both directly and via talent agencies. 

Working closely with the Marketing Manager with regard to the management of the blogger and influencer programme. 

Maintaining monthly influencer retainer contracts, influencer outreach, gifting, budget allocation, writing briefs, coordinating content and ordering product. 

Communicating with the marketing team regarding content priorities in line with product focuses on a weekly and monthly basis. 

Managing product launch gifting activations: concept planning, product sourcing and execution. 

Content creation – assisting on influencer shoot days and wider campaign shoots.

Writing and distributing press releases for product launches. 

Entering and managing all relevant industry/product awards.

Quarterly reporting of Influencer outreach & PR and weekly PR & Influencer updates in marketing meetings.

Desirable

2+ years experience in an influencer marketing role at a fast-paced company, start-up or agency environment.

Excellent communicator – able to give clarity and set direction.

Creative Content Producer is perfectly suited to somebody who is not afraid to take the initiative and wants to learn from the bottom up by being involved in every aspect of a campaign from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated excellence in graphic design and content management experience, and a passion for online consumer products, design and consumer marketing.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Bringing creative and graphic design ideas to editorial homepage, emails, other parts of the site and social media channels
  • Assist and coordinate all content creation, including design, imagery, copy, artwork and inspirational image research.
  • Producing and developing e-commerce imagery: on model,  flat lays, product photos
  • Conceptualizing and creating original content for day-to-day updates to site, emails and social media using photo or video editing software apps.
  • Prepping and assist creative team on editorial photo shoots
  • Maintain, track, and report content budgets per project.
  • Coordinate bookings of freelance content vendors (Including but not limited to: Photographers, Directors, Producers, Models, Styling, Studios, etc).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • 3+ years relevant experience, preferably with fashion or luxury background
  • Strong talent for all elements of design, layout and typography
  • Passion for fashion and strong knowledge of luxury brands

You will be modeling 40 athletic wear outfits on a white background.  Front shots, back shots and maybe a couple of fun alternate angles as well.

My clients were very specific on the type of model they’re looking for and have given me the following guidelines:

– Caucasian

– blonde

– no tattoos

– age: 21-29 (I think this could be stretched by a couple of years)

– height 5’7″ – 5’10” (again, we can likely stretch this by an inch or so)

– Dress size 0 or 2

– Bust 32B or 34A-B

– Shoe size: 7 or 7.5 (I think we can be slightly flexible on this, as taller models usually have longer feet)

My own requirements:

– Please bring ‘no show’ panties to avoid showing panty lines.  A C-string or pad might work alternatively, but only if they lay extremely flat and won’t show lines

– If you don’t have proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the shoot, we can do a rapid antigen test before we get started.

– be very fast and on target. The shoot itself will take 4 hours (with that extra hour in the beginning to conduct the COVID test, set up lighting, test shots, etc) and will not have many breaks.  This gives us about 6 minutes per outfit, which is perfect.
