Zynga is looking for an experienced Creative Director to work on one of our existing popular mobile games. This role leads and participates in direct design and creative input on content and system design in the game.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own, drive, and communicate the vision for the game
  • Lead a grow a team of designers
  • Create, model, and tune sophisticated systems and economies
  • Design and balance game pinches, inflows and outflows
  • Work closely with all team members to design and prototype new gameplay and systems
  • Create and improve tools to make the design pipeline faster and more efficient for the team
  • Be the advocate of good design practices across the studio
  • Create or adapt leading game features to work with an existing game
  • Pitch new ideas to the team/ lead brainstorming sessions

This person will report into our VP of Creative and spearhead creative strategy, ideation, design, and execution across a portfolio of our clients in close collaboration with internal and client teams. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate creative with demonstrated experience working in performance-driven digital advertising. The ideal candidate has chops across every phase of the creative process: you’ve designed content from scratch that you’re super proud of — from brief, to strategy, to idea, to art direction & execution. 

This is a client-facing and highly collaborative role that requires effective communication and salesmanship: you are a pro at delivering compelling presentations, creating alignment with stakeholders, and fostering great relationships with your clients and teammates. 

What you bring to the table:

  • At least 4-7 years of relevant agency or in-house experience 
  • Experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and the message platform to overseeing production on time
  • Educational degree in marketing, advertising, design, or business
  • Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile & web
  • An understanding of creative best practices for paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, and YouTube
