This is a hybrid (40% remote and 60% onsite) role in San Francisco, CA.

About the Job:

Are you super organized and love working on creating and organizing events? If so, read on! Odoo is looking for an Event Coordinator who will help plan 100 events in 2023 all across North America. This fast-paced role will require a crafty negotiator who knows how to manage their time wisely.

You’ll research the market, determine optimal locations for our events, and then continue negotiating with venues and caterers across North America. You will collaborate with other client-facing roles in this role, be part of a fast-growing team, and heavily impact Odoo’s success.

The Role

The Ecommerce Manager will manage the day-to-day business operations for the Vow’d website. The Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the development of the website’s functionality, experience, operations, and general layout. This includes guest experience, functionality, vendor management, and release management.

Job Requirements

  • Lead the e-commerce and digital strategy on vowdweddings.com, fulfilling the role of e-commerce / digital expert.
  • Devise the overall Vow’d e-commerce strategy: demonstrate a granular understanding of weekly KPIs.
  • Build a data-led understanding of web and marketing strategies, alongside the key performance indicators. Build relationships with key stakeholders resulting in the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Set the Vow’d e-commerce strategy and work alongside key internal stakeholders to agree to priorities by season and week.
  • Work closely with internal and external parties for best-in-class site operations and experience.
  • Utilize site analytics to understand the overall health of the site and lead changes as appropriate to meet site KPIs.
  • Assist with site Marketing updates. Work closely with marketing to drive site experience and regular updates.
  • Build a data-led understanding of web and marketing strategies, alongside the key performance indicators. Build relationships with key stakeholders resulting in the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Work with the Vow’d team to create and plan quarterly playbook, to ensure newness and renewed interest for the Guest, with relevant product launch timings in relevant markets.
  • Consider all e-commerce and digital touchpoints including mobile commerce and social media as part of delivering upon set goals.
  • Manage external agencies to ensure they are delivering on time, on budget, and meeting/exceeding deliverable quality.
  • Develop, document, and implement new processes to improve the efficiency of site management, including bug management and UAT.
  • Translate business and brand needs to partners for solution development.
  • Maintain brand standards throughout the website experience.
  • Ensure that all products are merchandised within the correct categories.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather all necessary data for product to go live and coordinate across the team to ensure all stocked products are online in time and full availability
  • Uncover opportunities to improve margin through efficiencies in the operating model.
  • Keep current with emerging web technologies and site experiences through relevant benchmarking.
  • Work closely with Guest Service and Fulfillment teams to ensure a frictionless post-purchase experience for the guest.
  • Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency, and relevancy across the entire site.
  • Ensure execution of promotions and markdowns in partnership with the merchandising team.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure strong site performance and uptime.

This is specialized clerical work performed in an academic li-brary.  The Assistant is responsible for the daily opera-tion of the library.  The work primarily involves the circulation desk functions. Some other duties may include processing books for the shelf, shelving books, contacting patrons for the return of overdue items, demonstration of the proper usage of printers, photocopiers or scanners, and other duties assigned such as the university ID cards and equipment distribution.   The employee receives instructions and supervision from a regional librarian as well as the Library Director, while regular or routine assign-ments are performed independently. 

 

  • Opening or closing the Library may be required.
  • Manage inquiries at the Circulation desk, via email, or other electronic messaging systems and the telephone.
  • Responsible for circulation, in-cluding circulation, shelf reading, overdue books, and in-ventory.
  • Provides pho-tocopy assistance to students and staff.Receives books, and other materials and manages those items for circulation including interlibrary loans to other ECPI libraries.
  • Assists students and instructors to locate books and other materials in the ECPI Libraries, and demonstrates use of the Library Catalog.
  • Greets visitors, answers telephone, takes messages, and assists with reservations for group study areas and staff meetings held in the library.
  • Keeps daily statistics of assistance queries and other statistics tallied at the Circulation desk. Shelves books and other library materials.
  • Refers library reference assistance questions and instruction requests to the Regional librarian.  Holds training with the Regional librarian, and attends regularly scheduled meetings of the ECPI University Library staff.
  • May be responsible for other duties as assigned such as University ID cards, certification test center administration (in the library), and student equipment

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

Minimum of two (2) years of college course work, plus six (6) months in general library procedures, office proce-dures, and personal computer courses, preferably supplemented by courses in computer software or hardware,  or any equivalent combination of education and experience that would pro-vide the above noted knowledge, skill, and ability.

A day in the life.

As our Account Manager on the Commercial Entertainment team, you’ll be responsible for the following:

The primary function of this position is to provide the highest quality service to customers and cross sell within the existing book of business. The Account Manager (AM) will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company (MIB) and designated accounts managed by Account Executives/Sr. Account Executives/Producers.

Daily servicing of customers will include addressing various coverage issues, contract analysis, exposure analysis, issuing auto ID cards, handling all the inside service work associated with the client’s accounts, including all endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, preparation of formal proposals, checking and binding policies.

The Account Manager (AM) should have experience in all areas of Commercial Entertainment insurance. As needed, the AM will coordinate with and defer to the Account Executive/Sr. Account Executive/or Producer on strategic account issues and potential problems. The AM is responsible for the successful fulfillment of Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines (SOG’s).

  • Quote new business and renewal options to every client.

  • Prepare and provide to every client a Summary of Insurance once coverage is bound and in effect for new accounts.

  • Maintain agency EPIC files accurately and consistently documenting conversations in emails and other notes sent to clients, while adhering to all MIB electronic and EPIC procedures.
  • Handle cancellations timely by checking carrier websites or NOC’s received via scan, fax or email, legally saving all accounts possible with adherence to E&O guidelines.
  • Prepare and check policies based on SOG’s checklist to include preparing letters, invoicing, summaries of insurance, certificates, ID cards, evidence of insurance, binders, etc. Policies must be checked for accuracy and all applicable endorsements.
  • Know and be up to date on the utilization of carrier websites, carrier communications, new coverage options, and billing procedures

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required)
  • Current California Department of Insurance License
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Proficient MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The applicable base salary range for this role is $42,400 to $90,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
